I definitely recommend staying at Bettei Oborozukiyo! The open-air baths in the guest rooms had a great atmosphere and were very comfortable. The exterior of the inn has a purely Japanese design, and the guest rooms are also very stylish with a modern Japanese design. In addition to the open-air baths in the guest rooms, there are other open-air baths in the building, and the cypress bath has a nice woody smell that is relaxing. This is a highly recommended Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs.

This hotel, which is about a 20-minute drive from the Shimanto River, is very beautiful both inside and out. The amenities are plentiful, and the hotel staff were very kind. The large public bath is a hot spring, which was very relaxing and helped to soothe my body tired from driving. The food, which was also prepared with an awareness of the four seasons, was so delicious that it was almost a shame to eat it. This is the closest hotel to Takamatsu Station. The price per person for a room only stay is reasonable. Of course, there is a parking lot, but I think it is also convenient for going on a udon tour by train from the station. The rooms are normal city hotels, but they are well-maintained, clean and comfortable.
