There is also a beautiful indoor bath made of black granite, an open-air bath, and a large bath made entirely of cypress, even to the bottom of the tub. Dinner was kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）using luxurious ingredients such as Shimane Wagyu beef, Oki Matsuba crab, blackthroat seaperch, and white squid. For breakfast, we had a Buffet style meal of a wide variety of dishes, including the inn's original pancakes served with brown sugar syrup.

This is a high-end inn in Tokachigawa Onsen. There are only a few rooms, and the interior of the building emphasizes privacy, creating a very calm atmosphere. You can also enjoy luxurious baths and meals. It is easily accessible, a 20-minute drive or 30-minute bus ride from Obihiro Station.

It's close to the ski resort and at a high altitude, so the open environment is pleasant. You can experience the resort atmosphere. The hot spring is a famous hot spring that is said to be good for the skin, and it makes your skin smooth and your hair silky, so it's popular with women. The hotel has the largest public bath in Tamatsukuri Onsen. The large rock-built indoor bath and open-air bath are made of cypress, so you can stretch your arms and legs out and relax. It was also nice that there were two types of dry sauna, one high and one low. After the bath, we had some rosy seabass, Tottori wagyu beef, and large clams from Lake Shinji. Breakfast was buffet style and we could try a variety of local dishes.

This is a Tokachigawa Onsen inn where you can enjoy a variety of baths, including two types of open-air baths with botanical moor hot springs, which are rare in the world. We enjoyed Buffet of Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine using seasonal ingredients from Tokachi. The accommodation fee was relatively reasonable, less than 25,000 yen per person, even with two meals included.

This is hot spring Jozankei Onsen and you can relax in the bath. The price is about 12,000 yen per night (it can be less than 10,000 yen if you're looking for something cheaper), the inn is clean, and it's located next to a mountain stream. The ski resort is about a 20-minute drive from Jozankei Onsen. For ski resorts, I recommend Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort, which is famous in Hokkaido. The slopes are wide and the gondola facilities are good. The snow quality is powder snow that is unique to Hokkaido. It can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers.

Breakfast is a Japanese and Western Buffet with over 20 dishes made with local ingredients. Dinner is kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）packed with seafood from the Sea of Japan and San'in region. Depending on the season and plan, you can also choose Shimane beef and snow crab.

正月に初詣に行くなら奈良の春日大社がおすすめです。年が明けた1月1日には初太鼓の演奏とともに初詣が始まります。境内はライトアップされて幻想的で素敵です。奈良駅の近くに泊れば興福寺のそばを通って歩いて25分くらいで行けるので、奈良駅近くにあるHotel Nikko Naraに泊るのが良いと思います。初詣だけでなく、どこに行くにも便利なホテルですよ。

All guest rooms are stylish independent guest cottages buildings with open-air baths and private gardens. We were able to spend a luxurious time in moor hot springs, all of which 100% natural hot spring. There is also a large public bath and a loyly sauna. For dinner, we enjoyed a creative Japanese kaiseki meal made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido and all over Japan. There was also a wide variety of alcoholic drinks to choose from, including Tokachi wine, Tokachi shochu, and sake.

The Takasu Snow Park ski resort is located about 30 minutes by car from the inn. It is one of the largest in western Japan, boasting 13 courses and a 4,900m long course, which is popular. The hot spring is a privately-sourced spring, and you can enjoy a pleasant bath in the large public bath or open-air bath. For meals, you can enjoy kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）incorporating the bounty of Hida and seafood.

I thought of some major temples and shrines, but I think Kasuga Taisha in Nara is not that crowded, even though it is lively. From the hotel, you can either walk for about 20 minutes along the gentle shopping street, or take the city loop bus (about 10 minutes, 200 yen), where you can see deer along the way. If there is no traffic jam, the bus is fast and easy. Either way, there are plenty of outdoor stalls, and it is easy to travel to other cities.
