There are many hotels around the Imperial Palace, but the accommodation costs are generally high. It can't be helped, since it's right in the center of the city. I recommend "Rem Hibiya." You can stay here for a reasonable price compared to other hotels. Please consider it.

If you are going from Izumo Taisha to Sakaiminato, I recommend going from Matsue through Daikonjima, passing through Sakaiminato's Betafumizaka Pass, then heading south on the national highway to Kaike Onsen. Kaike Seaside Hotel Umi no Shiki is a natural hot spring located in the city center, and is recommended for its beautiful views overlooking the sea.

浜名湖の内浦に面したホテル鞠水亭をおすすめしたいです。展望風呂が素敵なのですが、露天風呂が苦手な外国人の方には有料で貸切の家族風呂があるので気兼ねなく温泉に入れますよ。お部屋は和室で4名まで泊まれるお部屋があるのでグループ旅行におすすめですし、食事付きプランだと地魚をはじめとしたお造りの盛り合わせなどの会席料理がいただけて、外国からのゲストには喜ばれると思います。

I recommend "Chorakuen." There is a shuttle bus from JR Tamatsukuri Onsen Station. It has the largest open-air bath in Japan in Tamatsukuri Onsen. The food was also delicious. The garden is very large and it's fun just to stroll around.

If you choose the standard accommodation plan, the price is quite reasonable. The breakfast Buffet is also quite elaborate and delicious, so I recommend it.
