"Tokinoyu SetsugetsukaReviews about "
- We recommend the Setsugekka Hotel. This inn has a Japanese atmosphere, and there are many foreign tourists, so you can rely on them to assist you in English. As long as you pay attention to the small nuances, you can communicate on your own. All rooms have beautiful cypress open-air baths, and the experience of touring the baths in the bath basket is very comfortable. There are three private open-air baths with a rustic atmosphere that you can use immediately if they are available, without making a reservation. I used it with my girlfriend on the recommendation of an acquaintance.
- If you take the mountain railway from Hakone Yumoto to Gora Station, it's only a 1-2 minute walk. It's also conveniently located for dining and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable, and although small, it had an open-air bath. Of course, the large open-air bath with 100% natural hot spring is also recommended. There are several family baths (open-air, no reservation required), each with a different design, so you can enjoy them in the morning and evening. Overall, it's good value for money and suitable for couples, so I recommend it.

A hotel located right in front of Gora Station
- It's also convenient to get there by train. reception desk and other areas are hotel-like, but the rooms are Japanese-style and you can enjoy the atmosphere of a Japanese hot spring, including open-air bath. There is an English website, and the reviews say that there are staff who can speak English. When I stayed there, I saw several foreigner guests. If you avoid the Obon period, I think you can stay for less than 20,000 yen.
