"Hakone Kowakien TEN-YUReviews about "

  • This is the official hotel of Yunessun, a hot spring resort where you can enter in a swimsuit.

  • If you're looking for a place close to the Kanto region where you can bathe in a hot spring in a swimsuit, I think Yunessun is definitely fun. Yunessun's attached hotel, Tenyu, is a 20-minute bus ride from Hakone-Yumoto Station. There is also a shuttle bus from Gora Station, so it's easily accessible from Tokyo. All rooms have an open-air hot spring bath, so you don't have to go to the large public bath. Of course, there is a large public bath, and the Infinity Hot Spring on the 6th floor has a different feel to Yunessun. Dinner is a Japanese-Western fusion meal in the dining room. You can enjoy seafood such as abalone and spiny lobster, as well as fresh ingredients from the river and mountains.

  • The hotel has staff who can handle daily conversation in English, Korean, and Chinese.

  • Just before COVID, there were definitely staff members who could hold everyday conversations. They probably still are. The baths at Tenyu are great. On the sixth floor, there is an infinity open-air bath that blends into the sky, with nothing blocking the view from the Hakone outer rim. There is also a dry sauna. The hotel is originally built on a hill, so the view from the open-air bath is Breathtaking view. The fifth floor open-air bath overlooks the waterfall, which is a refreshing view that allows you to soak in negative ions. There is also a dry sauna on this floor. On the first floor, there is a reclining Lying-down bath and a jacuzzi where you can relax. There is a kaiseki plan for meals, but I think the buffet plan is better. After listening to my friend's opinion, there are many delicious Japanese dishes to choose from, so there is a wide range of choices. The breakfast is a Japanese and Western Buffet, so it's the food I'm used to, so I think it's fine as it is.

  • Tenyu's luxurious cuisine and infinity outdoor baths will leave you in heaven for body and soul

  • The food is of the highest quality, beautiful to look at and delicious in the kaiseki dinner. The sashimi, including fish, shrimp, and turban shells, as well as the steak, tempura, and fresh salad are all delicious. Buffet breakfast the next day has a wide variety of options, and it's also fun to make your own seafood bowl. In the daytime, the infinity bath has Breathtaking view that blends in with the background, making you feel as if you're floating in the air, but at night, you get the illusion of being sucked into the starry sky. You're sure to have a wonderful time.

  • It's more like a bath or a pool. There are many types.

  • At Yunessun, everyone from children to adults can enjoy themselves. In the outdoor pool, there are no difficult slides, so you can slide down while feeling Nature outside. In the indoor facilities, the wine baths and coffee baths have a nice scent and feel good. I wandered around trying to decide which bath to take, and before I knew it, about three hours had passed. It's nice that it's spacious, so you don't feel like you can't get in or feel cramped.
