Beautiful ocean view hotel
I recommend "Grand Park Otaru". It's romantic, with an ocean view along the canal. It's a perfect hotel for couples. It's also close to commercial facilities, so you can enjoy shopping. The atmosphere and location are great.

There are restaurants, hot springs, movie theaters, large supermarkets, and more, so you don't have to go outside. If you use JR, you can get to the airport without getting wet in the rain.

Directly connected to the station! A beautiful hotel with a great view.
It is connected to Otaru Chikko Station by a deck, so it is very accessible. If you walk along the national highway, you can reach the Otaru Canal in about 20 minutes. The hotel itself also has a commercial facility, so if you are eating alone, you can buy food at the supermarket. Since it is built along the Otaru Port, if you choose a room facing the sea, the view of the arena is the best. I think it was around 8,000 yen per night on a weekday. The room was definitely clean.
