• We recommend "Hotel Mystays Fukuoka Tenjin" which is close to Tenjin, the most popular shopping district in Fukuoka. It is a little over budget. It is a city hotel with white walls and a warm wooden feel. The red chairs in the guest rooms are an accent.

• The hotel is in a good location and is recommended as a base for sightseeing around Tenjin, such as touring the food stalls in Hakata. The breakfast was Middle Eastern and Indian, not Japanese, but it was delicious. Coffee was available at the side of the elevator at the entrance, and was free to eat and drink at any time.
