  • Recommended accommodations in Sapporo for family trips

  • This 100% natural hot spring, and features a large public bath and an open-air bath surrounded by trees. In the winter, you can enjoy bath to view the snow. There are also private baths, so the whole family can relax in the hot springs. For dinner, you can enjoy a colorful selection of dishes made with an abundance of Hokkaido's mountain and sea delicacies, such as grilled Shiraoi beef Shabu Shabu(Japanese hotpot)and a fresh sashimi platter. There are also family rooms available, which are also recommended for family trips.

  • An open-air bath where you can enjoy the changing seasons and 100% natural hot spring

  • The hot springs at this hotel are luxurious, 100% natural hot spring. The large indoor bath has a wooden floor that is pleasant to the touch. The interior space is very tasteful. The open-air rock bath was refreshing to enjoy, with the natural beauty of the trees spreading out before us. The food was a kaiseki course meal that made use of the bounty of the mountains and sea that is unique to Hokkaido, with a wide variety of dishes and a gorgeous appearance. We were full to the brim. Situated along a mountain stream, the view from the lobby lounge was also superb. This was a stylish inn where we could relax.

  • Family friendly hotel, children friendly, caring

  • It seems to have been renovated, and there were some improvements to be made to the facilities, but the service has improved considerably. They are attentive to your needs during meals, and if a child is having difficulty eating, they will cut the food into small pieces and sell it to you. There are toys for children in the bath, and juice, ice cream, and sweets are available in the lounge. Coffee and tea are also provided for adults, and beer is also available in the evenings. The hotel was already well-known for its delicious food, but the renovation has further improved the quality. There are several baths with different temperatures, so it is recommended for families with children who do not like hot baths. The sauna has both mist and dry types, so adults can enjoy it as well. I would recommend this hotel as it is a place that the whole family can enjoy.

  • A large public bath with natural hot spring water and an open-air bath where you can experience a sense of freedom you've never experienced before!

  • It has been renovated, and the rooms are clean. Originally, I didn't mind that the rooms were a little old because the baths and meals were overwhelmingly expensive, but I was happy that not only have the physical improvements been made, but the service has also improved. The drinks and sweets in the lounge are a nice touch (alcohol is also served at certain times). The baths have always been well-regarded, and the sauna now has both a wet and dry one. Both breakfast and dinner have been upgrade. This is a favorite hotel, and I am very satisfied. I would definitely recommend staying there again.

  • Enjoy the 100% natural hot spring at this long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) founded in 1934

  • If you are visiting Jozankei Onsen, we recommend the long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) "Shogetsu Grand Hotel," founded in 1934. This popular inn combines Japanese comfort with Western functionality. You can enjoy 100% natural hot spring in the spacious large communal bath and the open-air bath overlooking the valley. For dinner, you can enjoy a Japanese banquet that emphasizes the natural flavor of the ingredients and incorporates seasonal tastes.
