"Ibusuki Iwasaki HotelReviews about "
- Ibusuki Iwasaki Hotel is a great place to enjoy the hot springs and the ocean view. There is also a sand bath inside the hotel, and after the sand bath, it feels great to take a bath in the open-air bath overlooking the ocean. It's especially good to take a bath while watching the sunrise. The food is also pretty good, so it's a hotel the whole family can enjoy.

If you want a sand bath, this is the place to go
- In the past, the Ibusuki Tourist Hotel was famous for its jungle bath. Now it has become a really nice resort hotel, and the sand bath on the beach in front of the hotel is very warm, so please try it at least once. The parasols that are used to protect you from the sun are also cute.

A Hot Spring Resort Hotel in Kagoshima
- This hotel is located in Ibusuki, at the southern end of the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture. It's a relaxing hot spring resort hotel with a private-like beach, natural sand-steaming hot springs, a vast garden, and great entertainment facilities. You'll have a wonderfully fulfilling time here.

A hotel with a tropical feel
- I recommend the Ibusuki Iwasaki Hotel. Its unique, curved building is impressive. There is a natural sand bath hot spring within the hotel. The hotel faces the sea, but the beach is almost like a private beach for the hotel. It is a rather Western-style hotel, and the food is delicious, with a wide variety of Buffet items.

A hotel with natural sand bath hot springs and a full range of amusement facilities
- Kagoshima is located in the south of the Satsuma Peninsula, and is in a very good location. This hotel has a private beach-like sandy beach, natural sand bath hot springs, a vast garden, and a full range of amusement facilities. I thoroughly enjoyed the large communal bath and sand bath. The rooms were clean, and all the staff were friendly and kind.

Delicious food and great hospitality
- I've stayed here a few times when I go back home. There are many hotels and Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Ibusuki, but this hotel is relatively affordable and serves delicious, hearty meals, so it's good for growing children. Above all, I think this hotel has a great hospitality. The Sand Baths Hot Spring Hall is also nearby.

There is a sand bathing facility inside the hotel. The bath after the experience also has a great view, so it is recommended.
- After experiencing the sand bath, there is hot spring on the top floor of the hotel where you can wash off the sand. The view is outstanding. You can also enjoy a Hawaiian show at night and, depending on the season, digging potatoes in the garden (dig a box full for 1,000 yen!). There is also a bowling alley, so family can have fun even if the weather is bad.

It takes about 7-8 minutes to walk to the sand bath. There is also a shuttle bus available.
- It is difficult to enjoy both the sand bath and the view of Sakurajima at the same time. I recommend the Ibusuki Iwasaki Hotel for Sunamushi Onsen (Steam Sand Bath) hot spring experience. Kirishima Onsen is probably the only inn where you can see Sakurajima. The other hot springs are on flat land or in the mountains. You will need to check with the inn whether you can see Kirishima Onsen from the windows. I think you will use Kagoshima Airport for the round trip, but it is difficult to travel between Kirishima and Ibusuki because they are independent guest cottages.
