What impressed me was that he reflected our preferences, learned from a casual conversation, in the breakfast the next day. There are three rooms, each with open-air bath and an indoor bath. This is an inn where you can forget about time and spend your time whenever you like without worrying about being seen by others.

• This is an interesting hot spring inn that features a special interior in a relocated old house. It is also famous as one of the three great Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Yufuin. When you enter the room, you will be greeted by magnificent furnishings. The bath in the room is also spacious and full of atmosphere. However, there is no large communal bath or open-air bath on the premises. To be honest, this is a place I have always longed to stay at. It is Ryokan (Japanese inn) I would like to visit at least once.

• A few years ago, I wanted to try Murata's famous roll cake, "P Roll," so I went to the cafe space at Murata. It had a very relaxed atmosphere, and the service was polite and unobtrusive, even though it is one of the most famous Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Yufuin, which left a very good impression on me. I would definitely recommend warming your body and soul with the hot springs, the warm building, and the polite service during the cold winter months.
