  • A historic Ryokan (Japanese inn) founded in 1897

  • This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) founded in 1897. There are three buildings, and only two, Shuzankaku and Hekisenkaku, are available for lodging. The large baths at Arashiyama Natural Hot Springs are located in Shuzankaku. The two buildings are connected underground, so even if you are staying at Hekisenkaku, you can travel between the two without going outside. As it is advertised as Ryokan (Japanese inn) Japanese inn), the food is sumptuous and very delicious. You can enjoy traditional Kyoto kaiseki meals. It is conveniently located, just a 15-minute walk from Saga-Arashiyama Station on the JR Sagano Line, making it a recommended Ryokan (Japanese inn).

  • A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with Breathtaking view view

  • This is a long-established inn with a lovely Japanese atmosphere. It is located near Togetsukyo Bridge. You can see the autumn leaves covering the entire Arashiyama area from the rooms with open-air bath hot spring. You can relax in the bathtub with friend and chat. For dinner, kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )featuring Kyoto vegetables and many side dishes. The beautiful colors and presentation are a feast for the eyes and a delight for the tongue. The food is mild and delicious, and the breakfast is also health-conscious. We recommend this inn for its excellent hospitality, autumn leaves, and hot spring.

  • The atmosphere of Kyoto

  • We recommend this inn, located about a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Arashiyama Station and about a 15-minute walk from JR Saga-Arashiyama Station. It is a long-established inn that represents Arashiyama, located at the south end of Togetsukyo Bridge. The large hot spring bath with its classy atmosphere is nice, but you can also enjoy a bath in a room with an open-air bath while looking at Arashiyama, which changes color with the seasons. You can relax and enjoy a gorgeous Kyoto kaiseki meal at Cure Kushizu. The hot tofu breakfast is also delicious.

  • Experience the Japanese New Year atmosphere at a hotel on the Katsuragawa River

  • It's not a cheap Ryokan (Japanese inn), so how about staying at "Togetsukyo Bridge" in Arashiyama, Kyoto, which is always fully booked? Since it's New Year's in Kyoto, it may be crowded, but if you choose a temple or shrine, it won't be so crowded. Above all, you can enjoy the New Year's atmosphere to the fullest.

There are rooms with open-air baths, and kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )is a feast for the eyes. It is not too expensive, so it should fit your budget.

  • The view is nice.

  • There are many things to see in Kyoto, but in Arashiyama, there is a hot spring called "Togetsutei". There is a lot of greenery here, so I think it is a perfect location for travelers from far away. Near Arashiyama, you can also explore Ryoanji Temple and Sagano, and if you walk to Nenbutsu-ji Temple at the very back, it will be a good memory.

  • As the name suggests, this hotel is close to Togetsukyo Bridge.

  • The closest station to Arashiyama is the Hankyu Railway's Arashiyama Station. This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) close to the Togetsukyo Bridge and Arashiyama Station. If you are going sightseeing after staying in Arashiyama, I recommend you first go to Tenryu-ji Temple, then take a stroll around Sagano. You can walk from Nonomiya to Jojakko-ji Temple and Rakushisha Temple, which are famous for their autumn leaves, and then walk to Gion-ji Temple and finally Nenbutsu-ji Temple, and then take a bus back.

  • Speaking of Arashiyama, Togetsutei is famous.

  • This inn is located at the end of the Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama. It is a slightly luxurious hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn), with meals included and starting at 20,000 yen per person. The food, hot springs, and atmosphere are all definitely good hospitality. Also, if you are coming from Kyoto Station to Arashiyama, we recommend transferring to the Sanin Main Line and getting off at Saga-Arashiyama Station.
