"Grand Mercure Nara Kashihara" Reviews & Details
"Grand Mercure Nara KashiharaReviews about "
- There are many hotels and Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Nara city, but there are only a few city hotels around Kashihara. It is a hotel-less area. The hotel I recommend is "THE KASHIHARA". It is a decent hotel.

There is a hot spring
- It's a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of Nara City. Overlooking Mount Unebi, which is also mentioned in the Manyoshu, this hotel is recommended as it is located in front of Kintetsu Kashiharajingu-mae Station, the nearest station to Kashihara Shrine. There are two large natural hot spring baths. The rooms are spacious and relaxing. It is also convenient as a base for sightseeing in the Asuka area.

It's a pretty good hotel
- You're going to visit the Asuka area of Nara. Here is a recommended hotel. It's very close to Kintetsu Kashihara Station. You can see it. The price for a single room is around 10,000 yen. The rooms and the building are well-maintained and clean.

This hotel with hot springs is within walking distance from Kashihara-Jingu-mae Station.
- I recommend this hotel. It's conveniently located just a short walk from Kashihara Jingu-mae Station. There is a large hot spring bath, so you can relax and soothe your tired body after a long day of travel! There are Japanese-style and Western-style rooms. They seem to be used to solo travelers, so you can have a stress-free stay.

Hotels near Kashihara Jingu-mae Station (1 minute walk)
- It is close to Kashihara Shrine, so it is perfect for New Year's visits. There are Japanese-style and Western-style rooms. The ancient capital of Kashihara is the perfect place to spend time feeling the romance of the Manyo period. There is a hot spring bath called "Kashihara no Yu" that springs from within the hotel grounds, so you can enjoy the hot springs. Asuka is a 10-minute drive away.
Answered question: I want to visit a shrine during the New Year! Can you recommend some temples and shrines in Kansai and hotels near them?

We recommend staying in Kashihara, the "navel" of the ancient capital.
- Since you are touring the ancient capitals, it seems that you will also be going to places other than Nara City. If you are considering Sakurai, Toshima, or Yoshino, it would be convenient to stay at the Kintetsu Yamato-Yagi or Kashihara-Jingu-mae stations. Kashihara Royal Hotel is located near Kashihara-Jingu-mae station. It is part of the Daiwa Royal Hotels group, and I think it is one of the better hotels I have stayed at. There is a hot spring bath in the basement, so you can soothe your travel fatigue with a bath. It seems that many people going to Asuka use rental bicycles. You can rent one in front of the station.

It's conveniently located near the station.
- The hotel is located in an excellent location, just one minute from Kashihara-Jingu-mae Station, making it a convenient base for sightseeing in Nara. Both the Japanese-style and Western-style rooms are spacious enough, and considering the price range, it is a great deal. The internet is also available in the rooms, which is convenient. The hotel has a proper hot spring, which is rare for a hotel, and even a cypress bath.

The hotel is located in front of the station but not noisy, and Kashihara Shrine is within walking distance.
- The whole of Nara Prefecture feels like sacred places. There are many power spots, such as Kashihara Shrine within walking distance of the hotel, the historic village of Asuka in 10 minutes by train, Taimadera Temple in about 30 minutes by train, and Ogami Shrine (locally known as Miwa-san) in 45 minutes by sacred places. I'm a local, but I've heard that it's often featured on TV in other prefectures. Also, on major holidays, it's lively with many people gathering. The hotel here is in front of the station, so it's also recommended as a base for sightseeing.
