Where should I stay if I'm going to visit Kintaikyo Bridge or Akiyoshidai? What are some recommended hotels in Yamaguchi Prefecture?
Yamaguchi Prefecture is a place where you can enjoy both Japanese history and nature at the same time. I've heard that the beautiful five-arched Kintai Bridge and Akiyoshidai, one of Japan's largest karst plateaus, are especially popular with tourists from overseas.
I'd like to visit Yamaguchi Prefecture on my upcoming trip to Japan. Please let me know about any hotels you've stayed at that were good, as well as recommended accommodations, such as access, services, and connections to nearby tourist spots!

- The beautiful garden at "Tokimoe" is a must-see. The inn is built around a vast Japanese garden measuring approximately 3300m², and all guest rooms are built like independent guest cottages buildings facing the garden. The well-maintained garden, which can be seen from the guest room windows, changes with the seasons, creating a fantastical atmosphere. Completely free from the hustle and bustle of the city, spending time simply gazing at the garden is the ultimate luxury.rianko's answer (Posted on:2025/8/ 1)

Experience staying in a historical setting
- This historic inn, once known as "Hagi Guest House" and where members of the Imperial family have stayed, is decorated with precious art pieces throughout the building. With calligraphy by past prime ministers and Hagi ware made by Living National Treasures, it's as if you're walking through a museum. This inn offers an intellectual thrill as you sleep surrounded by authentic art that has colored Japan's modern history.マチコ's answer (Posted on:2025/8/ 1)
