Where should I stay if I'm going to visit Kintaikyo Bridge or Akiyoshidai? What are some recommended hotels in Yamaguchi Prefecture?
Yamaguchi Prefecture is a place where you can enjoy both Japanese history and nature at the same time. I've heard that the beautiful five-arched Kintai Bridge and Akiyoshidai, one of Japan's largest karst plateaus, are especially popular with tourists from overseas.
I'd like to visit Yamaguchi Prefecture on my upcoming trip to Japan. Please let me know about any hotels you've stayed at that were good, as well as recommended accommodations, such as access, services, and connections to nearby tourist spots!

- This is a recommended hotel where you can fully enjoy sightseeing in Yamaguchi. From the open-air natural hot onsen(hot spring) bath on the top floor, you can watch the ships passing through the Kanmon Strait, which will help you soothe your travel fatigue. The breakfast buffet also includes Shimonoseki specialties such as fried pufferfish and fukumeshi (blowfish rice).redriot's answer (Posted on:2025/8/ 2)

A hot onsen(hot spring) with a view of the Kanmon Straits
- We recommend the Dormy Inn Premium Shimonoseki. From the open-air natural hot onsen(hot spring) bath on the top floor, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Kanmon Strait and the sparkling night view of the city, allowing you to truly relax. After your bath, you can also enjoy ice cream and lactic acid bacteria drinks, typical of the Dormy Inn group. This hotel will help you soothe your travel fatigue with the view and onsen(hot spring).dynamite's answer (Posted on:2025/8/ 2)
