What are the best hotels near Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture?
I'm traveling in Japan and planning to visit the famous Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture. I'm looking for a convenient place to stay with easy access to the park. Can you recommend any hotels in the area? I'd love to hear what makes the hotel great: location, special amenities, positive reviews, etc. I'd also love to hear recommendations from locals!

- How about Hotel Crystal Palace? If you don't have much luggage, you can walk about 5 minutes from Kanagami Station on the Hitachinaka Seaside Railway. To get to Hitachi Seaside Park, you can either take a taxi from the hotel or return to Katsuta Station and take a bus. Although it's not directly connected to the station, the benefit of choosing this hotel is that it has a large public bath! With a large parking lot and good access, it is definitely recommended if you are traveling by car.
- I recommend Hotel Crystal Palace. It's a little independent guest cottages from Katsuta Station, but it's close to Hitachinaka Interchange, and best of all, it has a large, free parking lot that can accommodate 500 cars. Hitachi Seaside Park is also easily accessible, about 15 minutes by car. It has a large public bath with artificial onsen(hot spring), so you can relax and soothe your fatigue after walking or driving around the park.
