The building itself may not be new, but the rooms are always kept clean and well-maintained, so you can rest assured. The good thing about this hotel is that it is located on the west side of the station. There are several convenience stores, izakayas, and restaurants around the west exit, so you won't have any trouble finding dinner or buying drinks. It has all the services you need and is a good value hotel.

• If you're heading to Hitachi Seaside Park, Life Inn Katsuta Station West is convenient. It's right in front of you when you exit the West Exit of JR Katsuta Station. The bus to the park departs from the East Exit on the opposite side, but it's not a problem as it's just a short walk through the station corridor. The hotel is clean and reasonably priced, which is a plus. If you want to take the bus to the park early in the morning, this location is perfect.
