Western-style house in Nikko
I recommend the "Nikko Mori no Hotel" in Oku-Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture. It is a Western-style building recreated by Japanese people, and I think it will be interesting for people from overseas. It is an inn with excellent hospitality, and has many repeat customers. It is very Japanese and nice.

It's in Nikko, so it takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Nikko Station. It's a little far to get to, but the luxury is worth it. Both the Japanese-style rooms and Japanese and Western room-Western style rooms have calming colors. I think you'll feel at home here. It's a hideaway location independent guest cottages from the hustle and bustle. At this time of year, the open-air baths are covered in snow, which creates a special atmosphere. The cuisine is carefully prepared to use local ingredients such as Nikko beef, so why not stay a night here?
