6-2-45 Shimaya, Konohana-ku

  • Close to Universal Studios Japan!

  • This hotel is within walking distance of Universal Studios Japan. It is also adjacent to a shopping facility, so it is recommended for those who want to buy a lot of souvenirs. Even if you purchase bulky items, you can easily return to the hotel. It is also easy to access other tourist spots, so I personally recommend using USJ as a base.

  • Chain hotel with free breakfast

  • It's about 30 minutes by train to USJ, so this hotel is recommended as a base for sightseeing in Osaka. Children up to 6th grade can stay for free if they sleep with their parents. Breakfast is also free, but it is Buffet style and has a wide variety of options, so I was very satisfied. Since it is a chain hotel with branches all over the country, the service is good and you can stay there with peace of mind.

1-1-111 Sakurajima Konohana-ku

  • 3 minutes walk from Universal City Station

  • This is a budget hotel within walking distance of USJ! As an official hotel, it offers a wide range of services related to the theme park. It is especially reassuring to see the waiting times for attractions displayed in the hotel lobby. If you are a guest, you can purchase tickets at the hotel, so even if there are family members who don't like waiting, they can do so without stress! I thought the photo spots in the building were a nice touch that allowed you to enjoy the afterglow of USJ even at the hotel. It's cheap even with meals included, but personally I recommend only breakfast if you do. I ate a lot in the park, so I had a hard time with dinner... (laughs). On the other hand, if you want to eat a good meal and avoid crowds, it's easier to eat at the hotel!

2-3-75 Hokuko Ryokuchi, Konohana-ku

  • It is close to the Osaka Bay Area and can accommodate 2-5 people per room.

  • It's close to UFJ, Tempozan, and the Bay Area, so you can go to most places in about 20 minutes. It's a very convenient hotel with a large public bath and breakfast included. You can stay in the main building, or you can have a log house with a design from around the world, so you don't have to worry about the people around you even if you're with a large group. The price depends on the number of people, but for 5 people it's about 12,000 yen per person. If you make a reservation in advance, it's half price for children.

  • A well-equipped guesthouse near USJ

  • This guesthouse is close to USJ. The staff were very helpful, and even though I couldn't communicate directly with them, the paperwork was prepared and there was no problem. It was well-cleaned. Although it was a shared guesthouse, there were many showers and washbasins, and the facilities were well-equipped and I was able to stay comfortably. There are also convenience stores and hot spring facilities nearby. I recommend this guesthouse because it's close to USJ and you can keep your accommodation costs down.

  • A budget hotel near USJ.

  • If you are looking for a cheap hotel for your USJ trip, how about "Toyoko Inn Osaka JR Noda Ekimae"? The official hotels are expensive, so we recommend a reasonable business hotel. This hotel is located near Noda Station, 3 train stops (7 minutes) from USJ.

3-7-20 Nanba, Chuo-ku

  • A hotel with a natural hot spring observation bath on the top floor

  • This hotel is located in a downtown area, which is rare in Osaka, and offers hot spring baths. Men and women are allowed to use the baths on an alternating basis, but the hot spring on the top floor is rich in baking soda, which softens the skin and is said to be a "Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty)." There is also a large public bath on the third floor, which is not a hot spring, so this hotel is recommended even for those who don't like hot springs. Dotonbori is also within walking distance.

  • Hotels where you can buy Universal Studios souvenirs

  • Depending on the season, the time you can stay in Universal Studios may be short, so it's better to stay at a hotel where you can buy souvenirs from Universal Studios. "Hotel Kintetsu Universal City" has a shop called "Universal Studios Store" that sells souvenirs from Universal Studios.

5-6-16, Fukushima, Fukushima-ku

  • Enjoy natural hot spring water in your guest room bathtub

  • All rooms have natural hot springs in the shower rooms, so you can enjoy the water at your preferred temperature whenever you like. Prices vary depending on the room type, but the cheapest room plan is less than 10,000 yen. Since you'll be staying on a high floor, it's also recommended for those who want to enjoy the night view.

  • Close to the station and USJ, within walking distance

  • I stayed here to go to USJ. The location was great, it was close to the station and USJ, and I could walk there, so it was great. The room was compact, but clean and I slept well. The breakfast was simple, just bread and drinks, but I didn't mind because I was going to eat and drink at USJ. The accommodation fee was also cheap, so I recommend this hotel for those who are just going to sleep.

1-5-15, Kaigan dori, Minato-ku,

  • The hotel is right next to the Kaiyukan Aquarium.

  • Seagull Tempozan Osaka is in an excellent location next to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, and all rooms have an ocean view, with large windows that allow you to gaze out at the sea. And yet the accommodation rates are cheap, with a room-only stay for under 10,000 yen, but if you're traveling with children, the plan that includes breakfast may be more recommended. The hotel offers Japanese-style rooms, where you can sleep on a futon on a tatami floor. Sleeping on a futon on a tatami floor is an experience you can only have in Japan, so why not try staying here with your children and spending the time lounging around on the tatami?

1-2-1 Benten, Minato

  • There is a shuttle bus to Universal Studios Japan.

  • The hotel is within walking distance of Tennoji Station, so it is easy to use. A shuttle bus is also available on some days, so we recommend checking in advance if you would like to use it. Another attractive feature is that the price is not too high even during peak seasons. You can see the night view from the rooms, so you can enjoy the travel feeling even after returning to the hotel.

  • It's easy to get to and the all-you-can-eat salmon roe is a great attraction.

  • If you are looking for a hotel with a hot spring that is easily accessible to Dotonbori, we recommend "Yugiri no Yu Dormy Inn Premium Namba." The nearest station is Nihonbashi Station, and it is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Dotonbori. Dormy Inn is a chain of hotels that is well-known nationwide, so we recommend it. The hot spring is also nice, with a rock bath and other atmosphere. The amenities are quite good and clean, so you can spend a comfortable time there. The water is soft, and your body will feel warm and comfortable for a long time. The food Buffet has a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, but the all-you-can-eat salmon roe is popular. Please enjoy the wonderful seafood bowl. It is great because it has high-quality service, hot springs, and very satisfying food.

  • A hotel that will captivate your children

  • This is a hotel for families with children, overlooking Osaka Bay. On the top floor, there is an atelier where children can play freely. There are picture books, drawing, crafts, and exhibits, so even small children can enjoy themselves. The view is great and the open space allows parents to relax. Baby and child amenities and meals are available, and the rooms are spacious and have a great view.

1-1-35 Sakurajima Konohana-ku

2-1-6, Higashishinsaibashi, Chuo-ku

  • A business hotel with natural hot springs just a few minutes walk from Nihonbashi Station

  • Dormy Inn Premium Namba ANNEX is just a few minutes walk from Nippombashi Station, making it easy to walk to Dotonbori. The hotel is fully equipped with a large public bath, high-temperature sauna, and cold bath. If you choose the breakfast plan, you can enjoy Osaka specialties from the morning, so it is recommended rather than forcing yourself to eat out in unfamiliar Japan. If you get hungry after dinner outside, Dormy Inn's specialty "Yonakisoba (noodles sold by a hawker at night)" is served free of charge and is also great!
