Located in the center of Yuzawa Onsen town, it is highly recommended for its location, which makes it easy to visit the hot springs and eat your way around! It is also a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station, making it easily accessible. We enjoyed visiting the hot springs in independent guest cottages building, which is filled with garden atmosphere. There is also an open-air bath. For meals, we had a delicious Buffet made with carefully selected ingredients in the restaurant, which also has a live kitchen.

This hotel is convenient for sightseeing at Oshino Hakkai.
-
If you are going to Oshino Hakkai, we recommend a hotel in Kawaguchiko because it is easily accessible. Among them, Fuji Lake Hotel offers Breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji from your room and open-air bath. You can enjoy both Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji from Oshino Hakkai.

You can see the beautiful Mt. Fuji from both your room and the open-air bath.
-
This open-air bath has Mt. Fuji right in front of you, so you can enjoy the wonderful view while bathing in the hot spring. At night, you can't see Mt. Fuji, but you can see the starry sky, which was a wonderful sight. There is also a pleasant sauna. The view of Mt. Fuji varies depending on the room, so it's a good idea to check when making a reservation. The staff were very friendly and I was able to spend a comfortable time.

Ryokan (Japanese inn) you can enjoy hot spring tours
-
The inn has nine different types of baths, including a herbal bath and a cave bath, so you can enjoy bathing in each of them. There is also an open-air observation Ryokan (Japanese inn) on the seventh floor, from which you can see Mt. Tanigawa and other mountains in the distance. The meals are special kaiseki meals made with fresh local mountain produce. This is one of the leading Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Yuzawa Onsen.

Hakone has rooms with views of Mt. Fuji
-
We stayed in a room with a view of Mt. Fuji, and were blessed with good weather, so we were very pleased to see the majestic Mt. Fuji. The view of nature and Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath was also very relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner were Buffet style, but there were also many Japanese dishes such as nigiri sushi and tempura. There were many foreigners and families, so the dining area was lively.

There are many baths with 100% natural hot spring
-
For dinner, you can enjoy a creative kaiseki meal made with seafood sashimi delivered directly from Niigata Port, Japanese beef, sticky pork, and seasonal vegetables. The sweet sake served at the end is also exceptionally delicious. In the morning, a special Japanese breakfast is served with many small dishes of local cuisine, and you won't be able to stop having second helpings of the freshly cooked koshihikari rice. There is a large public bath with free-flowing hot spring water, a garden bath, and a cypress bath, each of which has a large rock bath, two open-air baths, and an indoor bath. There is also a private bath with an indoor bath and an open-air bath, but this is available for a fee (1,000 yen for 45 minutes). The baths are open 24 hours a day. Water is not added or heated, but only the large indoor bath uses a circulator for hygienic reasons.

Relax in the hot springs at Yuzawa Hotel

There is a free shuttle bus from Echigo Yuzawa Station, so the location is good, and it is a traditional hotel that is recommended. The hot springs are recommended because the water quality is good and you can relax, and the rooms are spacious.

Feel the homely hospitality
-
It is located on a hill on the shore of Lake Ashi. It is a wonderful Hakone Ryokan (Japanese inn) where you can feel the warm hospitality of the staff. We had meals in our room. The Kyoto-style kaiseki kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )was very carefully prepared, looked gorgeous, and tasted delicious. We were able to spend a relaxing time with a view of Mt. Fuji. The free private bath was spacious and relaxing.

A comfortable hotel where you can also enjoy hot springs
-
The hotel is conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from the west exit of JR Echigo Yuzawa Station, and has a wide variety of room types, so you can get a better deal. The rooms are retro and relaxing, so I recommend it. Although the rooms do not have open-air baths, they do have a spacious, open-air large rock bath. At night, you can enjoy the starry sky, and in winter, you can enjoy the open-air bath with a view of the snow.
Answered question: I want to see the snow from a room with an open-air bath in Echigo Yuzawa. We are planning a trip for three adults with a budget of around 30,000 yen per person per night.

A long-established resort hotel located in one of the best locations on the shores of Lake Ashi in Hakone
-
From the Tokyo metropolitan area, you can go directly to the hotel in about 150 minutes from Shinjuku on the Odakyu Highway Bus. If you are traveling by train, it is about a 25-minute drive from Hakone-Yumoto Station. This is a long-established resort hotel located in one of the best locations on the shores of Lake Ashi in Hakone. You can see Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from the hotel, and you can enjoy Lake Ashi hot springs from the hotel's own source in the large communal bath and open-air bath. You can choose between Western and Japanese food for meals, and I chose Japanese food for dinner and Western food for breakfast, but dinner had a seasonal feel and was delicious and beautiful to look at.

The view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from the room was Breathtaking view. Mt. Fuji looked especially beautiful in the morning and it was very refreshing. For breakfast, we had a Japanese/Western Buffet, but you can also choose a Japanese meal. There is a main building and an annex, and the hot spring is in the annex. The hot spring was spacious and we were able to relax and enjoy it. The open-air bath with a view of Lake Ashi was also amazing.

You can see Mt. Fuji from the large public bath.
-
Kyuka Mura is a resort facility surrounded by nature in a national and quasi-national park. We recommend this lodging. It can be accessed from Fujinomiya Station by bus bound for Kyuka Mura Fuji in about 45 minutes. The lodging owner has posted a blog about climbing Mt. Fuji, so it's a good idea to check that out. Drive to Mizugazuka Parking Lot, and from there you can take a shuttle bus to the 5th Station of Mt. Fuji's Fujinomiyaguchi. It's not exactly cheap, but it's a relatively inexpensive and clean lodging. There is a hot spring, and some rooms have a view of Mt. Fuji.

Motoyu Ryokan (Japanese inn) with natural hot spring water.
-
This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with natural hot springs. The hot spring is a simple sulfur spring with many beneficial effects, and you can enjoy a pleasant bath while looking at the Echigo mountain range. For dinner, we had a traditional banquet of local cuisine made with plenty of local ingredients, and we also enjoyed Echigo Mochi Pork and Niigata Wagyu Beef.

A recommended Ryokan (Japanese inn) to stay at when touring the three shrines of Hakone
-
I stayed here while touring Hakone's three major sacred places Hakone Shrine, Kuzuryu Shrine, and Hakone Motomiya. The room was a spacious Japanese-style room on the first floor, with a view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji. The view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi from the open-air bath in the main building was so amazing that I wanted to stay in it forever. The indoor bath was also spacious and had a great view. However, the last bath in the main building is at 7pm, so I wanted to try using it after dinner. The indoor baths for guests can be used to relax in Takogawa Onsen until early in the morning or late at night.

A quiet hotel in the mountains of Hakone
-
We could see the trees and Lake Ashi from our room. We could see Mt. Fuji from our room, but it looked better from outside the hotel. There was no private bath, but there was a large public bath and an open-air bath, so it was nice to be able to relax in them. The food was mainly Japanese, with a kaiseki dinner and Buffet in the morning. It was also close to Owakudani, so we were able to go sightseeing there first thing in the morning.

Rental amenities and meals for children are also provided, so it is a hotel where you can stay with your children without worry. There are also table tennis, karaoke, and a convenience store inside the building, so we had fun.

It is on the way from the station to the Shinano River.

It's about a 7-minute walk to Yachiyo Bridge over the Shinano River, and the downtown area of Bandai City is also nearby. The hotel is relatively new, so I think it's comfortable. There is also a free buffet-style breakfast with a focus on Western food.
