There is no tour of the Yumomi (A technique in which a board approximately 180cm long is placed in the hot spring to stir the water and lower the temperature until it is ready to bathe.), but it is a high-class long-established inn in Awara Onsen. The bath is wonderful, and the cloister garden is hugged hot spring The large public bath "Taiyoden" is a retractable dome type. The dome, which is opened according to the season and time of day, blends with the light, wind, and the change of seasons, and you can enjoy the real pleasure of Awaranoyu, the land of famous hot springs. The food, service and atmosphere are all of a high quality.

あわら温泉でしたら、「つるや」はいかがでしょうか。温泉街の中心地に佇む、純和風数寄屋造りの大人の温泉宿です。客室は全23室で全て趣の違う和室となり、露天風呂付（源泉掛け流し）の客室もあります。温泉は源泉かけ流しで露天風呂や庭園風呂、内湯、寝湯などでゆったりできます。食事はお部屋にて旬の素材などによる月替わりの創作懐石膳、若狭牛ヒレステーキ付き懐石、冬の越前地ガニ懐石膳などが頂けます。湯もみは残念ながらやってはいませんが、ゆっくり楽しめると思います。
