This is a recommended inn for a winter trip to Hokkaido. It is a 30-minute bus ride from Obihiro Station. You can relax and enjoy the view of the snow-covered Tokachi River from the open-air bath. For meals, there is a buffet and a Japanese banquet menu using ingredients grown in the fertile land of Tokachi, so you can enjoy the local flavors. I was able to experience the fresh air and warm hospitality.

It is located very close to Zao Onsen Ski Resort. I could see the slopes from my room. The large natural hot spring bath has an indoor bath and an open-air bath, both of which are large. The open-air bath was designed so that the bathtub was under the eaves. At the breakfast Buffet, I had Yamagata cuisine such as Yamagata beef curry and ball konnyaku.

This is a high-end inn in Tokachigawa Onsen. There are only a few rooms, and the interior of the building emphasizes privacy, creating a very calm atmosphere. You can also enjoy luxurious baths and meals. It is easily accessible, a 20-minute drive or 30-minute bus ride from Obihiro Station.

This is a hot spring inn on the banks of the Tokachi River. There is a scenic open-air garden bath where you can soak in natural moor hot springs. You can enjoy the hot springs while feeling the atmosphere and the cool cold. For meals, you can choose between Buffet or creative cuisine.

Nozawa Onsen Hotel is an inn with hot springs that flow directly from the source. There are three open-air baths and large public baths for men and women. There are also locker rooms and drying rooms for skiers. This is close to the lift station.

This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in Tamatsukuri Onsen, south of Lake Shinji. Women can choose a flower yukata at the flower yukata corner in the lobby. There is also a beautiful indoor bath made of black granite, an open-air bath, and a large bath made entirely of cypress, even to the bottom of the tub. Dinner was kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）using luxurious ingredients such as Shimane Wagyu beef, Oki Matsuba crab, blackthroat seaperch, and white squid. For breakfast, we had a Buffet style meal of a wide variety of dishes, including the inn's original pancakes served with brown sugar syrup.

The hotel is conveniently located just 30 seconds walk from Yokote Station. There are five places to eat dinner, including a Japanese restaurant with a Kiritanpo hotpot set meal. Breakfast is a Japanese set meal made with local Akita ingredients. The room was spacious and comfortable.

I recommend Oga, home to the "Namahage" traditional event in Akita Prefecture. The hotel offers a free shuttle from JR Oga Station, but it requires a reservation in advance and runs a limited number of times. There are also shared taxis available. I stayed in a room facing the ocean. The view of the Sea of Japan stretched out from the window, and was amazing. The food was mainly fish dishes, but there was a performance of hot stone cooking that was fun. The local sake was also delicious. The hot spring had cloudy water and was very pleasant. You can't see the ocean from the open-air bath, but it is surrounded by a Japanese garden and there is also a tub bath.

東京タワーの目の前にあるため、「東京タワーを拝むためのホテル」と言っても過言ではないと思います。お部屋で夕方に見る東京タワーもいいですが、だんだん日が暮れてライトアップしていき変わっていく様を見るのも楽しいです。ゆっくりお部屋で東京タワーのライトアップを見ながらお酒を飲むのもおすすめです。ホテル併設のバーも雰囲気があって素敵ですので、そちらで時間を過ごすのもおすすめです。

The food is of high quality, and you can enjoy wonderful kaiseki cuisine that makes use of locally produced ingredients. The Hida beef steak is excellent, as expected. You will be very satisfied with the hot springs in the luxurious open-air bath room and the delicious kaiseki cuisine that the chef has carefully prepared.

This is a hideaway inn located just off the main street of Yufuin in Oita Prefecture. In addition to the main building, there is a traditional Japanese-style independent guest cottages available for rent, so even families with small children can stay here without worry. You can refresh yourself after your trip in the private bath.

It's conveniently located, and you can see Mt. Fuji from open-air bath. You can choose from Japanese and Western cuisine. Lake Ashi is nearby, and there are many attractions such as sightseeing boats and the Hakone checkpoint. Hakone Shrine is the best place for your first visit of the year. On the 2nd, you can cheer on the mountain climbing runners of the annual Hakone Ekiden.

You can stay in a spacious room with a sunken kotatsu table that is connected to two other rooms. Meals are served in a private dining room, and include Japanese kaiseki-style cuisine that makes use of seasonal ingredients from Yamagata, including Yamagata beef. Of course, you can also enjoy the hot springs.

旅館の人たちがとても親切だったのが最も印象に残っています。温泉ももちろんあわら温泉というだけあって、とても満足できます。また、食事がとても豪華で驚きました。カニなどの海鮮をふんだんに使って、海鮮が苦手な人でも食べやすく調理されていると思います。

This inn is located in an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from Yokote Station, and yet you can relax and unwind. The large open-air bath bath allows you to relax while looking out at the garden, and the indoor bath is also spacious and open. For food, we had kiritanpo hotpot. It was delicious, with plenty of meat and vegetables.

We recommend the family-friendly Yamano Hotel Musouen in Yufuin Onsen. It's a popular inn for families, so you can stay here without worrying about bringing children. There is also a hot spring just for families. The view from the open-air bath is amazing, and it's a hotel that the whole family can enjoy.

The hotel has the largest public bath in Tamatsukuri Onsen. The large rock-built indoor bath and open-air bath are made of cypress, so you can stretch your arms and legs out and relax. It was also nice that there were two types of dry sauna, one high and one low. After the bath, we had some rosy seabass, Tottori wagyu beef, and large clams from Lake Shinji. Breakfast was buffet style and we could try a variety of local dishes.
