Itsukushima Shrine is about a 7-minute walk away, making it a convenient location for touring other tourist sites. You can take your time walking around the large torii gates and other attractions. Dinner was a delicious Japanese banquet. Although it wasn't a hot spring, the large public bath was also very pleasant. I also went to Mt. Misen, and the hotel staff gave me information about the shuttle bus to the Miyajima Ropeway that I used on that trip, so I recommend asking the hotel staff for other recommended tourist spots.

This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in Tamatsukuri Onsen, south of Lake Shinji. Women can choose a flower yukata at the flower yukata corner in the lobby. There is also a beautiful indoor bath made of black granite, an open-air bath, and a large bath made entirely of cypress, even to the bottom of the tub. Dinner was kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）using luxurious ingredients such as Shimane Wagyu beef, Oki Matsuba crab, blackthroat seaperch, and white squid. For breakfast, we had a Buffet style meal of a wide variety of dishes, including the inn's original pancakes served with brown sugar syrup.

This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs on the mainland side of Hiroshima Prefecture. You can see Itsukushima Shrine directly in front of you across the strait. The restored large torii gate also adds to its divine presence. Upon entering the entrance, you will be surprised by the three-story atrium lobby. The comfortable sea breeze blows through the private passageway leading to the private open-air bath, making you excited about the hot springs you are about to enter.

Dormy Inn is a chain that operates nationwide, and it was a beautiful hotel with good service. It also had an open-air bath, and it was fun to eat fruits and Yonakisoba (noodles sold by a hawker at night). They also had sashimi for breakfast, so you could make your own seafood bowl. Mizuki Shigeru Road was right in front of the hotel.

We recommend Arimoto, a long-established hot spring inn at Itsukushima Shrine. The historic Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) building is wonderful, but the food is also amazing. You can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine at this hotel. We highly recommend the dinner, which is made with plenty of seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, such as sea bream, conger eel, swordfish, and oysters, delivered by local fishermen every morning. Of course, you should also try the local Hiroshima sake!

There is a free shuttle from Tamatsukuri Onsen Station, so it is an inn that can be easily visited. Upon entering the stately building, you will be greeted by a large lobby with a ceiling. The hot spring water that the inn is proud of is gentle on the skin and makes it smooth after rinsing. There are plenty of things to enjoy, including an open-air observation bath where you can see a panoramic view of nature, an open-air rock bath, and a foot bath. There are two rooms, one 12.5 tatami mat room and one 4.5 tatami mat room, which are connected together, so three generations can spend a relaxing time together.

We recommend the Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima. Miyajima can be easily reached in under 30 minutes by using the high-speed jet from the pier in front of the hotel. There is also an open-air observation bath with a beautiful view of the Seto Inland Sea, which will soothe your tired body after a day of sightseeing. The club lounge is also very private and comfortable, making this a wonderful inn that is also recommended for couples.

This is a Japanese-style inn with a beautiful Japanese garden. The well-maintained Japanese garden is as beautiful as a temple in Kyoto. You can view the garden from both the rooms and the bath. There is a large cypress bath where you can enjoy a view of the beautiful Japanese garden. It is full of hot spring atmosphere and charm. The open-air garden bath that leads to it is also wonderful.

I recommend "Tsutsui" on Ikuchijima Island near Onomichi. I hope you can imagine a traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn). There is a small port nearby, so you can feel the atmosphere of Setouchi. For meals, a wide variety of fresh Setouchi seafood is served.

The view of Lake Shinji from the indoor and outdoor baths is the ultimate luxury. For dinner, you can enjoy fresh local seafood and Shimane beef, and for breakfast, you can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese and Western Buffet. There is also a beauty salon. Although the hotel has a retro Showa-era atmosphere, it is recommended for its cleanliness and beautiful views.

Izumo Taisha Shrine can be reached by taking the Ichibata Electric Railway from Izumoshi Station to Izumo Taisha-mae Station via Kawato Station, so if you stay at this hotel, you will feel very safe. It is a clean and reasonably sized hotel, so even women traveling alone are welcome. You can have dinner at the hotel, or there are many restaurants to eat outside, as it is in front of the station.

This inn has a rare natural hot spring, about 10 minutes by ferry from Miyajimaguchi Station. The hot spring is bathed in a granite bathtub. Meals are kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）using high-quality Hiroshima beef and fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. How about a glass of Hiroshima navel orange wine for two?

If you go to Miyajima in the fall, we recommend visiting Momijidani Park to see the autumn leaves! It is located behind Itsukushima Shrine, but it is a historic spot for viewing autumn leaves. If you are looking for a place to stay, how about the nearby Iwaso Ryokan? The entrance is a historic hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) built in 1882 (Meiji 25). The main building, a wooden building from the early Showa period, is nice, but we especially recommend the "independent guest cottages" built using traditional Japanese architectural methods from the Taisho to Showa periods.

I recommend the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Hiroshima. It's a beautiful hotel that's convenient and easy to use as a base, close to Peace Park and Peace Boulevard. The view is great, so it's a very comfortable stay. The breakfast Buffet is also very delicious. I think it's enough to prepare for the Flower Festival.

This is a complex tourist facility located about a 15-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station. It is located in Kurashiki's scenic area, making it a very convenient location for sightseeing in the area. There is a large public bath, so you can take a relaxing bath. The building is also very nice, and there is a museum attached to it. There are also shops and events to enjoy.

The view of Lake Shinji from the windows, the large public bath, and the sauna was so beautiful and relaxing. The Peking duck and Shimane beef steak we had for dinner were delicious. The breakfast menu was also luxurious and recommended. It's conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Matsue Station.

The accommodation cost at "Livemax Resort Aki Miyajima" is relatively cheap, and it is also close to Itsukushima Shrine. The hot springs also had a great view from the large open-air bath. If you want to relax in the hot springs with your children without worrying about the people around you, I recommend the rooms with open-air baths. The meals are buffet style, so we were able to enjoy a variety of dishes using local seasonal ingredients. There are plenty of dishes that children will like.

If you're in the Itsukushima area, how about Miyahama Grand Hotel? It's a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a beautiful view of the calm Seto Inland Sea and Miyajima before your eyes.
