This inn has great views from the rooms and the large public bath, the food is delicious, and it is conveniently located within walking distance of Itsukushima Shrine, so I recommend it. If you make a reservation, lunch is also provided. Other popular tourist spots include Miyajima Marine Miyajima Aquarium, Daisho-in Temple, and Mt. Misen.

Eat as much delicious Gifu food as you like at the buffet!

Saichoraku Honkan is a hotel with good access, located a 12-minute walk from Gero Station. The accommodation fee is cheap, breakfast and dinner are included, and you can also enjoy the hot springs. It is recommended to keep the cost under 10,000 yen per night, go to a high-class hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) using Yumeguri-Tegata (the bathing ticket which can use for other hot spring facility), and enjoy a slightly luxurious lunch.

A recommended inn where you can enjoy Breathtaking view at Dogo Onsen
-
This inn is conveniently located just a one-minute walk from Dogo Onsen and boasts Breathtaking view from its open-air bath. You can also enjoy the hot springs from Dogo's first open-air rooftop bath and large observation bath, which offer spectacular views of Matsuyama Castle to the south and Mt. Ishizuchi to the north. As for meals, you can enjoy a carefully selected kaiseki course that matches Setouchi with high-quality ingredients such as Iyo beef and Matsuyama chicken. In particular, the Iyo beef sashimi and foie gras Rossini with truffle-flavored egg and early mandarin crepes flambé are superb.

The closest historic hot spring inn to Itsukushima Shrine
-
We recommend Arimoto, a long-established hot spring inn at Itsukushima Shrine. The historic Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) building is wonderful, but the food is also amazing. You can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine at this hotel. We highly recommend the dinner, which is made with plenty of seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, such as sea bream, conger eel, swordfish, and oysters, delivered by local fishermen every morning. Of course, you should also try the local Hiroshima sake!

This hotel has a sand bath, giving you a resort feel.
-
Ibusuki Iwasaki Hotel is a great place to enjoy the hot springs and the ocean view. There is also a sand bath inside the hotel, and after the sand bath, it feels great to take a bath in the open-air bath overlooking the ocean. It's especially good to take a bath while watching the sunrise. The food is also pretty good, so it's a hotel the whole family can enjoy.

Enjoy nature to the fullest
-
This is a highly recommended resort-style hotel in Karuizawa, a resort area in Nagano Prefecture. It offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including an experience program where you can interact with free-roaming rhinoceros beetles, so it is recommended for families with small children. You can relax in the hot springs in the hotel and guest rooms, surrounded by lush nature.

There is a lot to enjoy around the inn
-
I'm a local. This inn has a sand bath, free shochu tasting, and a Genroku bath, which are fun for both adults and children. If you have the time and transportation, I recommend the sand Sunamushi Onsen (Steam Sand Bath) at Yamakawa Fushimi Beach, which is a truly natural hot spring that has been around for a long time. If you go a little further, you can also visit Japan's only tourist seahorse farm, the Seahorse House, and Kamafuta Shrine, which are also interesting.

A reasonably priced, relaxing inn in Kurokawa Onsen.
-
This hotel in Kurokawa Onsen boasts Breathtaking view from a plateau 920 meters above sea level. The lobby here offers a panoramic view of the Breathtaking view Plateau and the Five Peaks of Aso. You can also enjoy the natural hot springs in the open-air bath "Zekkein Hana no Yu," which offers a sense of openness overlooking the majestic Aso grasslands, the large glass-fronted observation bath "Senshin no Yu," and the private baths "Gokaku" and "Momiji." As for meals, you can enjoy kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with ingredients from Kumamoto and Aso.

Enjoy delicious shochu and Satsuma Kuroge Wagyu beef steak
-
Ibusuki Royal Hotel does not have a sand bath on site, but they provide a free shuttle bus to a place where sand baths are available, so it wasn't a problem. The large public bath and open-air bath in the hotel had good quality water and a nice view. We also enjoyed the delicious shochu and Satsuma Kuroge Wagyu steak, as well as other dishes made with local ingredients.

Room with open-air bath "Kinsen"
-
If you are looking for an inn with an open-air bath and in-room dining in Arima Onsen, I recommend this inn. It is a spacious, clean, and elegant inn, and the open-air "Kinsen" bath is in the room, so it is great to be able to take a bath in the hot spring whenever you want without worrying about the people around you. Dinner is also served in the room. You will definitely be satisfied.

An inn where you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of Kurokawa
-
This inn is a long-established establishment that has been in business since the end of the Edo period, and it is a quaint inn that gives you a sense of history and allows you to experience the essence of Kurokawa Onsen. The large public bath was also tasteful, and I was able to relax in it. The indoor and outdoor baths were so beautiful that I didn't want to leave. The room was relaxing, and the view of the trees from the window was wonderful. The food was steamed in a bamboo steamer using local meat and vegetables, and had an elegant taste. The other dishes also used plenty of local vegetables, and were very satisfying. The staff were very considerate, and it was a comfortable inn.

Meals can be delivered to your room.
-
The rooms with open-air baths vary in price depending on the room grade, and the lowest one costs 70,000 yen per person, but it is a room on the top floor with an excellent view, and the open-air bath is of course a Gin-yu hot spring. The meal is a carefully selected kaiseki course, cooked in the kitchen on the same floor and brought to the room while it is still hot. The food is as extravagant as possible, including Kobe beef fillet and sirloin steak, abalone, sea urchin, and other appetizers, as well as Akashi sea bream and live sashimi of tuna. The breakfast is so luxurious that it could be mistaken for dinner. The bath in the room is of course good, but the inn's observation large bath is on the same floor, so it is easy to get to. The bath has a spacious indoor bath (Ginsen) with Breathtaking view view below, an open-air bath where you can taste Kinsen and Ginsen, and a sauna is also attached. By the way, there is also a wonderful large bath in the basement. If you have time, I recommend going there. The indoor bath and open-air bath have a completely different atmosphere from those on the 9th floor.

A special time spent at a member Ryokan (Japanese inn)
-
We recommend Gero Onsen Suimeikan. Not only is this inn one of the member Ryokan (Japanese inn), but the inn itself has four accommodation buildings, three of which have their own hot springs with different characteristics, making it an attractive point. You can enjoy a quick hot spring tour experience within the same facility, with the open-air bath at Sansuikaku, the cypress bath at Rinsenkaku, and the large observation bath at Hisenkaku. The alkaline simple hot spring with a faint sulfur scent is gentle on the skin, and this is a recommended hot spring inn where you can feel the strong smoothness of your skin after bathing.

The ultimate in privacy with an open-air bath
-
We recommend Ginsui-so Choraku in Arima Onsen. It is a rare inn where you can enjoy two different springs (Kinsen and Ginsen) at once, and it is a great inn with a quiet surroundings. The best of them all is the independent guest cottages villa "Shiki" with its open-air bath. There is no contact with other guests, and you can enjoy a special space just for the two of you. It is a wonderful room full of luxury where you can enjoy the open-air baths of "Kinsen" and "Ginsen", the semi-open-air bath, the steam bath, and the foot bath at your own pace on the premises.

This is Dogo's oldest and most established Ryokan (Japanese inn), and its 1,000m2 natural garden offers seasonal views.
-
How about Funaya Hotel? It is located about 25 minutes by car from Matsuyama IC. It is the oldest Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Dogo and its 1,000m2 natural garden offers seasonal scenery. The baths are drawn from Dogo Onsen, and the alkaline simple spring water is effective against rheumatism and neurological diseases. There is also a plan where you can dine in your room, so you can enjoy the ingredients of Setouchi.

This is an inn that offers meals delivered to rooms with open-air baths.
-
This inn is sandwiched between Mt. Okuba and the Takigawa River, which boasts the best natural scenery in Arima Onsen. We recommend the independent guest cottages guest room "Kyokusuitei" with its own 100% natural hot spring in the open-air baths "Tamahoko-no-yu" and "Afuku-no-yu" along the Takigawa River, as well as in the large public baths "Kame-no-yu" and "Tsuru-no-yu". As for meals, you can dine on kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seafood caught in the Hyogo region and Kobe beef in your room. The specially ordered dishes such as the Kobe beef amai-yaki and Akashi seafood teppanyaki are particularly delicious.

A room with a large open-open-air bath.
-
There is a bath with open-air bath in the sky where you can enjoy Nature scenery, which is rare even in Arima. The bath is spacious enough to accommodate about two adults. The food is kaiseki cuisine using Tajima beef and fresh fish and shellfish caught in Akashi Port. All dishes are served one by one.

The closest hotel to JR Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit (Shinkansen Exit)
-
This hotel is easily accessible, just a few minutes walk from JR Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit after getting off the Shinkansen. The twin rooms in the main building are inexpensive but a bit small, so if you splurge a little and get a South Wing room, you'll enjoy a comfortable space of about 23 square meters. If you use the one-day free pass for the subway and city bus, you can visit most of the temples and shrines in the city at a low cost. It is also convenient that reception desk will store your luggage after you check out.

It's a hotel with a nice view.

I recommend the Grand Prince Hiroshima. It's a wonderful hotel where you can comfortably enjoy the scenery around the Seto Inland Sea. It's convenient to get to Miyajima easily by high-speed boat that departs from the pier in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean and easy to use, and there is a hot spring, so you can also enjoy the autumn flavors of Hiroshima. I would like to recommend it as an attractive choice.

A hot spring inn where you can enjoy Kurokawa Onsen at a reasonable price
-
At this Ryokan (Japanese inn) you can stay in a Japanese-style room with 8 tatami mats. Meals are "Misato Kaiseki" and are served in your room. The dishes are made with fresh local ingredients and are elegantly seasoned. You can also enjoy the specialty "horse sashimi" and the Misato Ryokan (Japanese inn) 's standard "chawanmushi". For the bath, enjoy the mysterious sulfur spring "Misato no Yu" that changes color depending on the time of day.
