I'm a local. This inn has a sand bath, free shochu tasting, and a Genroku bath, which are fun for both adults and children. If you have the time and transportation, I recommend the sand Sunamushi Onsen (Steam Sand Bath) at Yamakawa Fushimi Beach, which is a truly natural hot spring that has been around for a long time. If you go a little further, you can also visit Japan's only tourist seahorse farm, the Seahorse House, and Kamafuta Shrine, which are also interesting.

This is a historic hotel in Jozankei Onsen. There is a free shuttle bus from Sapporo Station, so it is easy to access. They offer a Buffet plan for both breakfast and dinner, which is very reasonable at around 10,000 yen per person. The hospitality was very homely, and there were facilities such as karaoke and table tennis, so the whole family could enjoy themselves.

And yet the accommodation rates are cheap, with a room-only stay for under 10,000 yen, but if you're traveling with children, the plan that includes breakfast may be more recommended. Rather than staying in Fujiidera, you may have more options if you look for a place to stay around Tennoji Station. The Tennoji Miyako Hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from Tennoji Station, and has four-person rooms that are perfect for families and groups. From Tennoji Station, you can get to Umeda and Namba with a single subway train, so it's a good place to go sightseeing other than the ancient tombs. There are plenty of places to eat around Tennoji Station, so you won't have any trouble.

This is a hotel for families with children, overlooking Osaka Bay. On the top floor, there is an atelier where children can play freely.
