I know of only one other place in the Kanto region that has such a large Mixed-Gender Hot Springs outdoor bath with natural hot spring water. Just stretch your arms and legs in the outdoor bath and all your stress will melt away. For women, there is a large indoor bath that is connected to Mixed-Gender Hot Springs outdoor bath, which can also be used directly. There is also a separate large public bath for men and women, with natural hot spring water. There is utase-yu（a stream of hot water falling down on your shoulders like a small waterfall）, a bubble bath, and another large outdoor bath, and the men's and women's baths are switched on a timed basis, so you can use both. The food is kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）, with a menu that changes with the seasons, and in the morning the red miso soup made with Lake Shinji clams and medicinal rice porridge are delicious.

You can enjoy the bounty of the mountains and the sea from Shimane Prefecture. Dinner was a Japanese course meal that could be finished in about 2 hours. I was very satisfied with the appearance, taste and volume. The bath was on a rotation system and was very nice with a Japanese style.

You can enjoy a high-class kaiseki meal using high-quality seafood and mountain produce. Local sake, draft beer, and soft drinks are available for free during the time. Dinner is a luxurious kaiseki meal that starts with a platter of five kinds of seasonal fish, Shimane Wagyu beef sukiyaki, stewed blackthroat seaperch, and stone-grilled abalone. In the morning, there is a Japanese and Western Buffet.

I heard that the name Tamazukuri comes from the fact that agate (major stones?) were produced in this area a long time ago. Perhaps that's why the baths here have agate stones embedded in them, which makes them look very mystical. They also have great beauty benefits. The water is of high quality and there's a good amount of it, so it's a recommended spot that you'll want to use again and again.

The large public bath is made of large glass windows, and right in front of it is a lake that spreads out gracefully. I was very satisfied to be able to relax in the hot hot spring while enjoying the beautiful scenery. I would like to return again if I have the chance.
