  • A recommended luxury Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Dogo Onsen

You can choose from a wide variety of luxurious plans to suit your taste. You can also enjoy the hot springs in Dogo's first open-air rooftop bath, which overlooks Mt. • A hotel located on the shores of Lake Shinji

  • I recommend this hotel located on the shores of Lake Shinji in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture. The building is old, but clean. The open-air observation bath overlooking Lake Shinji offers a spectacular view that will impress you. You can enjoy the view of Lake Shinji from the restaurant and the rooms. For meals, we chose the Buffet plan for both breakfast and dinner. There was a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes on the menu, including meat and seafood, and everything was delicious.

6-34,Dogo-takou-machi,

  • A place where privacy is maintained

  • This inn is located in a hot spring town, a 6-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station. All rooms have open-air baths that are fed by natural 100% natural hot spring. Breakfast and dinner are served in the rooms. There is also a large public bath at the inn. You can relax in the indoor bath, open-air bath and jacuzzi bath, which use water drawn from Dogo Onsen. The inn also has a strong emphasis on fresh ingredients, and seafood from the Seto Inland Sea and local seasonal ingredients are served in the morning. They do not use unnecessary seasonings, and are particular about bringing out the original flavor of the ingredients themselves. Although the meals are served in the rooms, they are very considerate in that the hot food is delivered to the room while it is still hot, which made me very satisfied.

  • Luxury Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Dogo Onsen

  • If you're looking for a high-end Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Dogo Onsen, we highly recommend Umenoya. It is a historic and stately inn that has been in business for 75 years. Some parts of the traditional Japanese architecture still use wavy glass, also known as Taisho glass. This luxurious inn has a total of eight rooms. You can enjoy the Dogo hot springs in the open-air bath just past the lush garden and the cypress bath with its refreshing aroma. The food is carefully presented and kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )meal featuring seafood from Setouchi and fresh vegetables.

1264-2 Kawakami, Yufuin-cho, Yufu-shi

  • A villa-like Ryokan (Japanese inn) that represents Yufuin

  • This is an interesting hot spring inn that features a special interior in a relocated old house. It is also famous as one of the three great Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Yufuin. When you enter the room, you will be greeted by magnificent furnishings. The bath in the room is also spacious and full of atmosphere. However, there is no large communal bath or open-air bath on the premises. To be honest, this is a place I have always longed to stay at. It is Ryokan (Japanese inn) I would like to visit at least once.

  • We recommend Hisameno, located in the heart of Mt. Sanbe in Ota City, Shimane Prefecture. You can enjoy Sanbe Onsen in the large communal bath and open-air bath. It's a great deal because you can stay for a reasonable price even with meals included. The rooms overlook the Sanbe mountains and have a sense of openness. For dinner, you can choose from several plans, including a Japanese banquet that focuses on ingredients and local cuisine from Shimane Prefecture. Breakfast is a healthy Japanese set meal. There is also a souvenir corner, karaoke, manga corner, and a ping-pong table, so you won't get bored.

  • Hot springs in World Heritage Sites

  • How about "Kiunso" located in a World Heritage Site? You can enjoy high quality hot springs and fresh fish dishes. Located in the quiet and rustic center of the hot spring town, I stayed in a independent guest cottages guest room across the courtyard. If you are on a budget, you will be able to stay for about 20,000 yen on weekdays.

682-0123 Tottori

  • Enjoy Misasa Onsen at a cozy inn

  • I recommend "Hashizuya" in Misasa Onsen, Tottori Prefecture. It is a small inn located along the river. The entire building is covered with tatami mats, so you don't need to wear slippers. This inn actually serves very cheap and reasonably priced crab in the winter, but the chef is very skilled, so you can enjoy the food even in the summer. You can enjoy baths with different atmospheres, such as a large bath with 100% natural hot spring, a independent guest cottages bath built in a storehouse, and a private bath.
