Ibusuki Iwasaki Hotel is a great place to enjoy the hot springs and the ocean view. There is also a sand bath inside the hotel, and after the sand bath, it feels great to take a bath in the open-air bath overlooking the ocean. It's especially good to take a bath while watching the sunrise. The food is also pretty good, so it's a hotel the whole family can enjoy.

駅に到着すると迎えに来て頂け、外湯をまわる時も送迎してもらったりととても親切でした。建物は古いですが、清潔ですので安心して宿泊できました。城崎温泉の「外湯巡り」に利用できる無料入浴券もこちらの宿で発行してくれますので、城崎での温泉三昧を堪能できました。館内には内湯もあり、貸切風呂としても利用可能です。

You can also enjoy the hot spring in the open-air bath where you can enjoy the seasonal scenery or in the indoor bath with abundant 100% natural hot spring hot water. And as for meals, you can enjoy kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）using local seasonal ingredients such as Oga's specialty "Ishiyaki ryori" (stone-roasted dishes). In particular, the special order dishes such as simmered sea bream kabuto, grilled Akita Nishiki beef on a stone plate, grilled turban shell, and grouper sushi are exquisite.

I'm a local. This inn has a sand bath, free shochu tasting, and a Genroku bath, which are fun for both adults and children. If you have the time and transportation, I recommend the sand Sunamushi Onsen (Steam Sand Bath) at Yamakawa Fushimi Beach, which is a truly natural hot spring that has been around for a long time. If you go a little further, you can also visit Japan's only tourist seahorse farm, the Seahorse House, and Kamafuta Shrine, which are also interesting.

Ibusuki Royal Hotel does not have a sand bath on site, but they provide a free shuttle bus to a place where sand baths are available, so it wasn't a problem. The large public bath and open-air bath in the hotel had good quality water and a nice view. We also enjoyed the delicious shochu and Satsuma Kuroge Wagyu steak, as well as other dishes made with local ingredients.

This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) that evokes the good old days and is instagrammable. You can also enjoy the sulfur hot 100% natural hot spring water, which is rare in Noboribetsu Onsen, in the indoor and outdoor baths. As for the food, they are particular about the ingredients and change the menu every season so that you can enjoy the taste of each season, so you can eat delicious food at any time.

I recommend "Noboribetsu Onsen Daiichi Takimotokan". The bath is quite spacious and there are about 35 different types of baths, so you will never get bored. You will lose track of time. You can also choose to have meals in your room, so you can take instagrammable of your crab meal.

外湯巡りに最適な温泉街中心に位置する大和屋さんはいかがでしょう。素泊まりでも外湯フリーパスがついていたり、周りには居酒屋、コンビニがあって食べるものに困ることもないので、学生時代の節約旅行には嬉しいポイントを抑えたお宿です。

This hotel is right in front of the sea of Ibusuki Onsen. The rooms are very clean and the amenities are plentiful. I recommend the "Tenku No Tenburo." The sea stretches out before your eyes, and the time you spend relaxing in the bathtub is truly soothing. You can also enjoy delicious cuisine made with seasonal ingredients. I also enjoyed the sand bath nearby. Staying at this hotel and feeling refreshed will surely give you motivation for your exams.

"Takinoya Annex Tamanoyu" is a Noboribetsu Onsen inn with a retro atmosphere that makes you feel like you've returned to your hometown in the countryside, with Japanese hearth in the lobby. With the feel of an old-fashioned Ryokan (Japanese inn), it's sure to look great instagrammable. The homey atmosphere of the inn is filled with retro accessories and Hokkaido-style furnishings, making it a great photo spot.

The sand bath is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The food is delicious. The rooms are clean and tidy. What impressed me most was that I burned my calf in the sand bath, and I couldn't even soak in the bath after Golden Week (early-May holiday season in Japan) bath, so I cooled my calf with cold water, but it still hurt, so I asked reception desk at the Coral Beach hotel for some ice, and they brought me a lot of ice right away. Thanks to them, my burn healed. I remember being grateful that they were accommodating me even though there were a lot of customers during Golden Week.

This stylish cafe and guesthouse is located right next to JR Noboribetsu Station, the gateway to Noboribetsu Onsen. You can use the cafe on the first floor even if you are not staying at the hotel. I recommend the delicious additive-free soft serve ice cream made from 100% Noboribetsu milk. Almost all hotels offer day-trip bathing in the hot springs, so you can enjoy them while staying at this guesthouse. They will also give you lots of local information on Noboribetsu's fun spots, interesting places, and places that are perfect for instagrammable.
