Izumo Taisha Shrine can be reached by taking the Ichibata Electric Railway from Izumoshi Station to Izumo Taisha-mae Station via Kawato Station, so if you stay at this hotel, you will feel very safe. It is a clean and reasonably sized hotel, so even women traveling alone are welcome. You can have dinner at the hotel, or there are many restaurants to eat outside, as it is in front of the station.

It is located just a minute's walk from Kayabacho Station on the Tokyo Metro subway line, so it is easily accessible. Single stays are available, and multiple nights are also available at a low price, so it is recommended. Amenities are also plentiful.

A clean and affordable hotel located very close to Izumo Station
-
I recommend the Super Hotel Izumo Ekimae. It's close to the station, so you can stay there with peace of mind. It's also easy to get to Izumo Taisha Shrine. There's also a hot spring facility nearby (you can enter at a discount), and the Japanese and Western breakfast Buffet is delicious. It's a relatively cheap, clean, and easy-to-use hotel.

This is an inexpensive hotel with good access to Otaru's tourist attractions.
-
You can walk to the Otaru Canal, Kitaichi Glass, and the brick streetscape from Otaru Station, so I recommend the Dormy Inn in front of the station. Sightseeing in Otaru is nice, but as someone from Sapporo, I would definitely recommend stopping by Sapporo for sightseeing.

A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) near Izumo Taisha Shrine
-
Ryokan (Japanese inn) is also famous for being the family home of singer Mariya Takeuchi. Even without that, I think it is one of the most famous Ryokan in Izumo. It is a 4-minute walk from Izumo Taisha Station, and is conveniently located right next to Izumo Taisha Shrine. This long-established Ryokan has a charming atmosphere and a sense of Japanese history. Although it is an old Ryokan, it has been renovated, and the rooms and the building are well-cleaned and clean. The food is Japanese-style, visually gorgeous, and delicious.

A hot spring hotel adjacent to Izumoshi Station
-
Located next to JR Izumo Station and Ichibata Electric Railway, it is very convenient for sightseeing in the city, such as Izumo Taisha Shrine, Hinomisaki Lighthouse, Izumo hot spring, Izumo Winery (free wine tasting & free souvenir tasting). The hotel offers a lake view while soaking in Matsue Shinjiko hot spring. If you use this hotel as a base for heading towards Matsue, we recommend Tamatsukuri Onsen, Lake Shinji, Yaegaki Shrine, Matsue Castle, and Lafcadio Hearn's former residence.

I would recommend this hotel depending on the time of your visit.
-
Even on a carefree trip, a safe place is essential. This is a wonderful hotel with no flaws. The exterior of the hotel is made of stone, and the interior is retro and modern, with a Meiji era feel. It depends on the season, but you can stay here reasonably. I recommend choosing a plan that doesn't include meals, and going to eat sushi in the town of Otaru at night! It may seem a bit extravagant, but you can stay here cheaply in the off-season.

The hotel is clean and has good access to tourist spots.
-
It's a small hotel, but it's clean and has a nice atmosphere. I remember that the price wasn't too high. It's right next to the famous Otaru cafe "Amatou", and it's also close to the Otaru Canal and Otaru Vine. If you're looking for a cheaper hotel closer to the station, the national chain Dormy Inn, which also has hot springs, might be a good choice.

The exterior is a little old, but the rooms are kept clean. There is only an indoor hot spring, but visiting the outdoor Visiting hot springs is also part of the fun, so I think you can try a variety of them.
