13 Tokachigawa Onsen Minami, Otofuke-cho, Katou-gun

  • A chic, high-end inn in Tokachigawa Onsen

  • This is a high-end inn in Tokachigawa Onsen. There are only a few rooms, and the interior of the building emphasizes privacy, creating a very calm atmosphere. You can also enjoy luxurious baths and meals. It is easily accessible, a 20-minute drive or 30-minute bus ride from Obihiro Station.

Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel

12 Tokachigawa Onsen Minami, Otofuke-cho, Katou-gun

  • A relaxing resort in Tokachi

  • This is a recommended inn for a winter trip to Hokkaido. It is a 30-minute bus ride from Obihiro Station. You can relax and enjoy the view of the snow-covered Tokachi River from the open-air bath. For meals, there is a buffet and a Japanese banquet menu using ingredients grown in the fertile land of Tokachi, so you can enjoy the local flavors. I was able to experience the fresh air and warm hospitality.

Tokachigawa Onsen Kangetsuen Hotel

14-2 Tokachigawaonsenminami, Kato-gun otofukecho

  • A hotel on the banks of the Tokachi River

  • If you are going to Tokachigawa Onsen, why not try Kangetsuen? This hotel is located on the banks of the majestic Tokachi River. The hotel has a variety of baths, including an open-air bath with a spectacular view, a cypress bath, a walking bath, and Lying-down bath. You can bathe in the moor hot spring, which has a soft texture and is known for its skin-beautifying effects. For meals, you can enjoy delicious Japanese banquet meals made with vegetables grown in the Tokachi Plain, with the motto of local production and consumption.

Hotel Daiheigen

Tokachigawa Onsen Minami 15-1, Otofuke

  • An inn where you can enjoy a variety of baths and hot springs with beneficial effects

  • This is a Tokachigawa Onsen inn where you can enjoy a variety of baths, including two types of open-air baths with botanical moor hot springs, which are rare in the world. We enjoyed Buffet of Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine using seasonal ingredients from Tokachi. The accommodation fee was relatively reasonable, less than 25,000 yen per person, even with two meals included.

Seijyakubow<Tokachigawa Mall Onsen>

  • A stylish luxury inn with a beautiful view of the Hidaka Mountains

  • This is a stylish, single-story luxury inn in Tokachi with a great view of the Hidaka Mountains. All guest rooms are stylish independent guest cottages buildings with open-air baths and private gardens. We were able to spend a luxurious time in the moor hot springs, all of which 100% natural hot spring. There is also a large public bath and a loyly sauna. For dinner, we enjoyed a creative Japanese kaiseki meal made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido and all over the country. There was also a wide variety of alcoholic drinks to enjoy, including Tokachi wine, Tokachi shochu, and sake.
