Ginzan Onsen has a good old Taisho era romantic feel to it. It is easy to get to, just 30 minutes by car from Obanazawa City on National Route 13.

There are no Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs near Nagoya Station. There are only a few hotels with large public baths. If you are looking for a hotel with a hot spring, we recommend the APA Hotel Nagoya Marunouchi Ekimae. The hotel is easily accessible and has natural hot springs. This is a popular luxury inn that is highly recommended in the Tamazukuri Onsen area of Shimane Prefecture. From the large public bath and the lake-side rooms, you can see Lake Shinji and the Shimane Peninsula of the Kunibiki myth. Not only the large public bath, but also the baths in each guest room are natural hot springs, so you can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content.

Both dinner and breakfast at this inn were delicious and the portions were generous, so I was very satisfied. This inn is famous for soba, so I was able to eat soba for both dinner and breakfast, which was great for me as a soba lover. The rooms were clean, and I could see the waterfall from the window, so it was very relaxing. The open-air bath was just the right temperature, so I was able to relax while listening to the sound of the waterfall. The air was clear, and I was soothed by looking up at the night sky. I also enjoyed the atmospheric hot spring town, which was about a five-minute walk away.

This is the most recommended inn in Tamatsukuri Onsen. The staff are well trained and it is definitely a high-quality Ryokan (Japanese inn). It doesn't have a flashy atmosphere and is popular with everyone. At first glance it may seem like an ordinary Ryokan (Japanese inn), but it is very comfortable.

Taking bath to view the snow in winter is the best. From December, you can see frost-covered trees in Zao, Yamagata Prefecture, and I remember feeling ecstatic after soaking in Zao Onsen to soothe my frozen body. The indoor bath is made of wood, has a nice scent, and you can feel the warmth of the wood. The windows are all glass, giving it an open feeling, and the bath is spacious.

Although it is not a natural hot spring, the water uses plenty of charcoal and leaves your skin smooth. It is a public bath, and the large bath is spacious and kept clean. Another recommended point is that guests can enter the bath as many times as they like for free. The rooms are simple and compact. There is no meal service, but the price is cheap, so it is a very good value hotel. It is close to the station, so it is easy to use the restaurants in the area.

The attraction of this inn is the large bathhouse, made with Kiso cypress. The large bathhouse, filled with the scent of cypress, is extremely relaxing. There is also a private family bath and a private open-air bath with a view, so you can enjoy a variety of hot springs. A lot of Kiso wood is used inside the building, so you can feel the warmth of the wood. There is even a wooden fan made from a single piece of wood, which I think is an experience that can only be had at this inn. We recommend this inn located further inside Kinugawa Onsen. Located in a quiet area of sightseeing hot spring, Kinugawa, this inn is full of the feeling of a Secret hot spring. It has a wonderful, rustic atmosphere. I'm sure even an older girlfriend will be satisfied with the calm atmosphere here.

A few years ago, I wanted to try Murata's famous roll cake, "P Roll," so I went to the cafe space at Murata. It had a very relaxed atmosphere, and the service was polite and unobtrusive, even though it is one of the most famous Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Yufuin, which left a very good impression on me. I would definitely recommend warming your body and soul with the hot springs, the warm building, and the polite service during the cold winter months.
