The observation bath made entirely of wood and the open-air rock bath skillfully arranged with rocks are 100% natural hot spring milky white sulfur spring. The large public bath and open-air bath are some of the largest in Matsushima Onsen, allowing you to stretch out your arms and legs to your heart's content. There is also a sauna, so you can enjoy a nice soak. Meals are available in two plans: a banquet and Buffet, with Buffet offering a wide variety of dishes and excellent quality for the price. In addition to the regular dishes, there are seasonal fair dishes to look forward to. There is salt-grilled beef tongue, Sendai beef grilled on a hoba leaf, and teppanyaki, and in the fall, seafood including crab is also served. For entertainment, there is the usual table tennis, games corner, karaoke room, etc.

The view from the open-air bath is outstanding. I was able to enjoy the hot springs at a leisurely pace while looking down on the hot spring town of Nozawa. The private open-air bath was located far independent guest cottages, so it felt like I was in the middle of nature. The meals used many local ingredients. They were carefully prepared and very elegantly seasoned.
