You can see the first sunrise from the observation bath.

This inn overlooking the Pacific Ocean is a national guesthouse, so you can stay there reasonably. The large observation bath has a panoramic view of the ocean, making it the perfect location to watch the first sunrise of the year. Of course, you can see it from your room too. The meal was a delicious kaiseki meal featuring delicious local seafood. The room was so clean that it was hard to believe it was a national guesthouse, and had a resort feel to it.
