- If you're driving to Universal Studios Japan, here’s a smart strategy: I recommend staying at a hotel a short drive away to get a much better deal. This particular inn is a perfect example. It's only an 8-minute drive to USJ, which I think is a very reasonable distance. In return for that short drive, you get to choose from options like Japanese-style rooms or rooms for four people, all at a lower price. They also have paid parking on-site.

It is close to the Osaka Bay Area and can accommodate 2-5 people per room.
- It's close to UFJ, Tempozan, and the Bay Area, so you can go to most places in about 20 minutes. It's a very convenient hotel with a large public bath and breakfast included. You can stay in the main building, or you can have a log house with a design from around the world, so you don't have to worry about the people around you even if you're with a large group. The price depends on the number of people, but for 5 people it's about 12,000 yen per person. If you make a reservation in advance, it's half price for children.

The log cabins here are the best.
- Although it is an artificial island, it has many trees, is surrounded by the sea, and you can enjoy barbecues, so it is recommended for family trips. There are hotel-type rooms and log houses, but if you are looking for a room for the whole family, the log house is recommended. It is also convenient because it is not too far from Universal Studios Japan.

A hotel that can accommodate a large number of people in one room
- Here at Lodge Maishima, there are 6 Western-style rooms that can accommodate 3-5 people. There are 12 Japanese-style rooms that can accommodate 3-6 people, and 6 Japanese-style rooms that can accommodate 7-10 people. The Western-style rooms are still recommended. It is more convenient to have a car, but it doesn't take long to get there by bus or train.

Recommended accommodation for large groups
- It's easy to get there as there is a bus to Maishima Lodge from Keihan Hotel, which is right next to USJ. It's also just a few minutes by taxi. The lodge is also a campsite, and for 5 people the rooms are either Western-style quadruple or Japanese-style. There is also a log house separate from the hotel. There is also a large public bath. It's dark and difficult to find late at night at USJ, but in the morning you can enjoy the scenery and get the resort vibe.

Log house in Maishima, Osaka
- It is about 8 minutes by car from USJ, and there is also a bus. You can stay in this log house without having to worry about other guests. It is popular with families, so we recommend making reservations early. Although it is not a hot spring, there is a large public bath where you can relax. The room was clean and comfortable.
