Recommended business hotels for hiking from the Fujinomiya trail
When I climbed for the first time last year, I took the Fujinomiya route, which is a short distance to the summit. It was difficult to climb because of the slope and many rocks, but I felt a sense of accomplishment. I started from the Fujinomiya 5th station, but took a local bus there. You can get there by bus from Shin-Fuji Station or Fujinomiya Station. This hotel is close to Fujinomiya Station, and there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was convenient. I took a bus from Fujinomiya Station around 6:30, and it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the Fujinomiya 5th station. There were quite a few bus services going back and forth. The hotel room was not large, but I was able to stay comfortably. It was cheap, even with the breakfast Buffet included. There are also room plans with a view of Mt. Fuji. A single room costs around 7,000 yen.
