It is a reasonable hotel
Naturally, there are only a few hotels in the Mashiko area. The hotel I recommend is Hotel Sunshine Mashikodate. Unfortunately, the price is a little over your budget. If location is important to you, it's definitely worth considering.

If you are going to see Kasama ware in Mashiko, there is a good hotel. I recommend "Hotel Sunshine Mashiko Tate". This hotel is a so-called tourist hotel. The rooms and the building are well-cleaned and clean. However, it may be a little out of your budget.

There is a bathtub made of Mashiko ware.
It's about an hour by bus from Utsunomiya Station. If you take the Tohoku Shinkansen, it's conveniently close to Tokyo and other metropolitan areas. The rooms are spacious enough, and some have open-air baths. The bathtub is made of Mashiko ware. There is a waterfall near the open-air bath. The indoor bath is also quite spacious. The cuisine uses local Tochigi beef, and you can feel the restaurant's commitment to using local ingredients, so it's highly recommended.

This is an inn that incorporates Mashiko pottery.
The hot spring water is poured into a large Mashiko pottery jar, making this an irresistible inn for pottery lovers. Of course, Mashiko pottery is also used for the meals, and hot and cold dishes are brought out one after another to the point where you'll be saying "That's enough!" In the lobby, a band is playing, sung by the proprietress in a kimono. They sang Happy Birthday for the birthday child (a guest), and we all clapped along. It was a heartwarming inn.
