"Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel" Reviews & Details
"Lake Biwa Marriott HotelReviews about "
- If you're in Shiga, I recommend the Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel! My children are small, and this hotel has so many facilities that they can't play all they want. The planetarium is particularly unique, and they even have programs for children, which they loved. There's also an indoor pool, and you can play table tennis and badminton for free in the gymnasium. It's also close to Kyoto, so you're sure to enjoy your stay in Shiga.

Enjoy family time in a choice of rooms with Lake Biwa views
- If you're staying in Shiga with children, I recommend Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel. The view of Lake Biwa from the rooms is appealing, and the lake view rooms in particular have large windows, so both adults and children will find the magnificent scenery soothing. If you have small children, I recommend a Japanese-style room where they can relax on the tatami mats. My family has elementary school children, and a Japanese-style room where you can take off your shoes and relax is really convenient. If you choose a slightly more luxurious room with onsen(hot spring), it's a special experience to be able to enjoy onsen(hot spring) without any worries with just your family.

If you are traveling with a baby, the Japanese-style room is comfortable.
- I also stayed at Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel with my one-year-old child. Traveling with a baby can be a bit worrying, but in a tatami room, I was able to let my child sleep on the futon without having to worry about them crawling or falling off the bed, which was really reassuring. The hotel also has a "Welcome Baby Plan," which seems to include a service where toys and baby supplies are provided in the room. It's also easily accessible from Kyoto, so it's definitely worth considering.
