A stately hotel born in Osaka
I recommend the prestigious Rihga Royal, founded by the business community of Osaka. The service from the staff was also good. You can choose from restaurants with a luxurious atmosphere to casual ones, but I recommend Nadaman, where the food looks beautiful.

This is the nearest hotel.
I think it's in the best location. As you can see from the building, it's a great hotel. They offer 24-hour room service, which I think is great. If you're going to Umeda, you can just take the subway, so if you're just looking to enjoy the illuminations, this is the best place to be.

Nakanoshima in Osaka
If you want to stay in Nakanoshima, this hotel is the best choice. It is located in the center of Nakanoshima, so it is easy to access after seeing the illuminations. There are plenty of bars and lounges, so it is the best choice for couples.

Special floors are especially recommended
There are various ranks of rooms in this large hotel, but the newly renovated special floor is perfect for couples. The room I stayed in had a raised tatami mat and was very relaxing. In the lounge, there was unlimited dessert, coffee, and tea.

Easy to move around
You can get from Nakanoshima Illumination to the hotel with a single Keihan train, and both are close to the station. There are other business hotels near Yodoyabashi, but I would choose this one if you are a couple. There is also a bus from Osaka Station, so it is convenient to get there from the downtown area.

Play on the machines at Universal Studios Japan and enjoy nature at the Kaiyukan aquarium
Kaiyukan is one of the world's largest aquariums. The view from the tunnel-shaped tank called the Aqua Gate is Breathtaking view, as it feels like you are walking on the ocean floor. You can enjoy the excitement from the starting tunnel. For lodging, I recommend the Rihga Royal Hotel. The accommodation fee is quite high, but the rooms are spacious and relaxing. It is a little independent guest cottages from Osaka Station, but there is a free shuttle bus from the station, so it is not inconvenient.
