Enjoy Buffet of luxurious Hokkaido ingredients
How about Hotel Shikanoyu? Meals are served Buffet style, with fresh seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido. The seafood is especially delicious. The open-air bath overlooking the Toyohira River is spacious and relaxing. The hot spring is a sodium chloride spring, which is effective in relieving fatigue. To get there, take the Jotetsu Bus bound for Jozankei from Sapporo Station, get off at Yunomachi, and it's a 3-minute walk away.

Hotel Shikanoyu is easily accessible, with a free shuttle bus from Sapporo Station. The hotel has a large public bath and an open-air bath overlooking the mountain stream, and at night the valley is lit up, making it a beautiful sight. The indoor bath offers a variety of baths, including hot and warm water, a jacuzzi, a mist sauna, utase-yu（a stream of hot water falling down on your shoulders like a small waterfall）, and a fragrant bath. You can use the free massage chairs after bathing. The guest rooms are Japanese-style or Japanese and Western room, and have large windows from which you can enjoy the beauty of the valley. For dinner, you can choose between a Japanese banquet or Buffet, depending on the plan. This is a very cost-effective hotel, so it's highly recommended.

A long-established inn where you can feel the old Japan
Located in the middle of Jozankei Onsen, this inn has the calm atmosphere of a long-established inn, but is also equipped with modern facilities. There is a plan that includes two meals for about 10,000 yen per person. The meals were served Buffet style, and we were able to enjoy a variety of menus that made generous use of ingredients unique to Hokkaido.

A long-established hotel where you can stay at a reasonable price
昭和2年の創業でこの定山渓では有数の老舗です。ここは昔、レンタカーを借りて泊まったことがある宿です。大浴場がとても広くゆったりしています。バイキングは約50種くらいあり、ライブキッチンなど出来立ての料理が頂けます。値段もリーズナブルで2食付きで1万円以下で泊まれます。ロビーがとても広くそこに無料のコーヒーセルフサービスがあり、ゆったりと飲めます。
