Convenient and affordable
This is a tourist Ryokan (Japanese inn) located almost in the center of Oshu City. It takes about 15 minutes from Mizusawa to Hiraizumi on the JR Tohoku Main Line. The rooms are Japanese-style rooms with 6 to 8 tatami mats, which is enough for two people. There are accommodation plans that include meals, but I recommend choosing the plan that includes breakfast and enjoying Tohoku delicacies at a nearby restaurant for dinner.
