Hotels near Kamakura Station are generally expensive, and there aren't that many hotels. I recommend the area near Ofuna Station. It's cheaper than hotels around Kamakura Station. It's a major station with multiple lines, and the area around the station is thriving with commercial facilities and restaurants. There are also many buses from the station, and you can access famous tourist spots such as Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and Kotoku-in Temple. It's also easy to get there by train, so it's a good base for sightseeing in Kamakura. This hotel is right near the station, and the rooms are simple and compact, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was from the familiar chain store "Ueshima Coffee." You won't have any trouble finding food, so it's recommended even if you're just staying overnight.

It was very close to JR Ofuna Station, so it was easy to travel by train. It was a convenient location for sightseeing in Kamakura, and had good access to Enoshima and Yokohama. There were convenience stores and restaurants around the hotel, so it was convenient for eating and shopping. The room was not large, but I was able to spread out my luggage without any problems, the room was clean, the bed was spacious, and it was generally good. There were the bare minimum amenities, so there were no inconveniences. The Wi-Fi was comfortable, and the breakfast was included and it was cheap, so it was a very satisfying hotel.
