Enjoy Shimane Prefecture's specialty products and gourmet food for breakfast
The Matsue Urban Hotel, located about a 3-minute walk from Matsue Station, is a good choice. Prices are reasonable. Bicycle rentals are available for free, so it's also recommended for sightseeing in the city. The breakfast Buffet offers about 30 different dishes, including Shimane Prefecture specialties and local delicacies.

Located on the shores of Lake Shinji, transportation is convenient and affordable.
I stayed here when I went on a trip to Izumo Taisha Shrine and Matsue. It is very convenient for day trips to Izumo Taisha Shrine and for touring the tourist attractions in Matsue City on foot or by bus. The price is also reasonable, and I recommend skipping the meal and enjoying the taste of the famous restaurants in Matsue City. The sunset over Lake Shinji from the large public bath on the upper floor was beautiful.
