A conveniently located hotel boasting natural onsen(hot spring)
This hotel is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Asahikawa Station. The bus to the zoo departs from in front of the station, so it's best to stay close to the station. The hotel boasts a natural hot onsen(hot spring) that springs from within its grounds. The water is rich in metasilicic acid, also known as a natural lotion, and is known for leaving your skin smooth.

Comfortable hotel near the station
If you are planning a trip in the winter, it's best to prioritize a hotel close to the station. It's extremely cold in the winter and the roads are bad, so it can be difficult to get to a hotel independent guest cottages from the station. This hotel is in an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk away, and is fully equipped with natural onsen(hot spring) and a full-fledged sauna. The restaurant also serves a variety of local ingredients, which is a plus.

A hotel close to the event venue and with excellent facilities
We recommend the Asahikawa Winter Festival, one of Hokkaido's three major winter festivals. It takes place in mid-February, and the park where the festival takes place is within easy walking or taxi distance from the inn. The large hot spring bath is open until late, so even those with children who are unsure of what time to go will be able to enjoy a bath! In addition to restaurants and bars, the hotel also has an izakaya. As its name "Akachouchin" suggests, it is a very Japanese izakaya. Breakfast is served buffet style, so you can eat whatever you like, ensuring the whole family will be satisfied. There are some surprising menu items, such as ramen.

Asahikawa Winter Festival and Hotels near Asahikawa Station
The Asahikawa Winter Festival, held in early February, was great. It features impressive snow sculptures that have even been recognized by the Guinness World Records. There are many things for children to enjoy, such as a giant maze, slides, and snowman-making. The fireworks are also worth seeing, and there is a market where you can enjoy Hokkaido gourmet food and local cuisine. At night, the ice sculptures are lit up, creating a fantastic atmosphere. This hotel near the festival site is conveniently located a 3-minute walk from Asahikawa Station. There is a natural hot spring and sauna, and breakfast at the observation restaurant with a view is fantastic.
