There is also an open-air bath, so if you time it right, you should be able to look up at the fireworks while soaking in the tub. My recommendation is Hotel Sunmi Club. This hotel is located right in front of the fireworks launch site, so your room essentially becomes a private, front-row seat. You get a full view of Atami Bay, and there are absolutely zero buildings obstructing the view between your room and the launch. The best part is that you can experience the full impact of the sound and light directly, without having to deal with the crowds outside. They also have plenty of Japanese-style (washitsu) and Japanese-Western (wa-yoshitsu) rooms that accommodate three people, which makes room assignments easy. For a hotel with this kind of view, it's relatively reasonable, and you can definitely aim for a budget around 20,000 JPY. Here’s the critical tip: When you book, you must specify that you want a "Sea View Room."

This inn has an observation bath and an open-air bath, which can be used by men and women at different times. You can see the outside scenery from both, so in winter you can see the snowy scenery. There are also cute yukatas in pink and yellow, so I'm sure your girlfriend will be happy.

It's nice to watch the fireworks from the hotel, but I recommend going out to the sea. I watch them lying down in the park every year. It's very moving. Many people come to watch them in their yukata robes. Hotel Sunmi Club faces the sea, so you can see the fireworks well.
