A historic onsen(hot spring) inn with a beautiful Japanese garden
This onsen(hot spring) inn has a strolling Japanese garden that has been designated a national registered monument. You can also relax in a foot bath while admiring the seasonal scenery in the garden. Located in the heart of onsen(hot spring) town, it is also easily accessible by train to Rurikoji Temple.

If you're looking for a trip that touches history, we recommend Matsudaya Hotel, which was founded over 340 years ago. This historic place is where Sakamoto Ryoma, Saigo Takamori, and others gathered at the end of the Edo period to discuss Japan's future. The bathhouse where Sakamoto Ryoma and his friends are said to have bathed, Ishin no Yu, still exists and is open to the public. The atmosphere of the inn is also outstanding, allowing you to feel the atmosphere of the Edo period.

A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that represents Yuda Onsen
