You can also become healthy with medicinal cuisine and a cypress bath
A recommended sacred places is Horaiji Temple in Aichi Prefecture. It is located near the peak of Mount Horaiji, and just climbing the mountain is a great workout, and there is an old legend that the temple cured Emperor Mommu of his illness. Rather than the temple, the mountain itself feels like a huge sacred places. Another recommended lodging nearby is "Yuya Onsen Hazuki." It is about a 10-minute drive from Horaiji Temple. There is an inn with an open-air cypress bath, and the hot springs here are also very effective for tired bodies. The food you get after warming up in the hot spring is medicinal cuisine, but it is very delicious! I think you will enjoy both sacred places and a healthy trip.
