A hot spring inn in the mountains on the western edge of Sanin
Yumoto Onsen is a quiet hot spring resort located in a quiet mountain valley up the Otozure River from Nagato City, a town on the western edge of the San'in region. Even though it is a mountain inn, it is only about an hour's drive from Senzaki Fishing Port in Nagato City, and fresh seafood is abundantly on the dining table. Squid fishing is particularly popular in this area, so the squid course meal is recommended. The hot spring has a long history of over 600 years and is famous for its skin-beautifying waters.
