And of course, the onsen (hot spring) overlooking the ocean is fantastic, too. In terms of budget, you can often find nights for around 20,000 JPY per person. Here's the crucial tip: These rooms sell out fast for fireworks nights. You must book early and make sure you specifically request a "fireworks view room."

The real charm here is the infinity-style rotenburo (open-air bath), which is designed to make you feel as if you are merging right into the ocean. That expansive, open feeling is something truly hard to find elsewhere. For the ultimate luxury on a fireworks day, here's my advice: first, go soak and relax in that spectacular onsen. Then, head back to your room, get comfortable, and wait for the show to begin. Since the hotel is perched on a cliff, your view from the room is completely unobstructed, giving you a beautiful look at the fireworks. And rest assured, they have plenty of Japanese-style (washitsu) and Japanese-Western combination rooms (wa-yoshitsu) available for groups of three.

All rooms have ocean views, but only some of them have a view of the fireworks, so please check before making a reservation. If you are unable to make a reservation, don't worry, you can still watch from the lobby terrace on the top floor of the hotel. There are seats available for guests to sit on, such as on the lobby terrace, so you can enjoy the view with peace of mind! There is onsen(hot spring) where you can enjoy a Breathtaking view ocean view, and a unique, luxurious, huge restaurant with a partially glass-walled, open feel. There is also a shuttle bus from Atami Station, so access is easy. However, the fireworks period is a popular time, so you may have to go a little over your budget. However, it is recommended as you can see the Breathtaking view fireworks without the crowds!

Nearby you will also find Atami Castle (not the actual castle but an observation facility for tourists), Atami Plum Garden, and the hotel's own herb garden, which are sure to satisfy foreign visitors.
