• JR白浜駅からの送迎バスが出ており、電車でのアクセスにも便利です。部屋は全体的にゆったりとしたつくりで、広めなので大人数での滞在にもオススメです。温泉は天然温泉のかけ流しで、貸切の露天風呂もあります。周囲は紀伊山地に囲まれていて自然を楽しみながら入浴できます。料理には熊野牛など、現地の食材にこだわって提供されます。ラウンジでは、温泉で淹れたコーヒーがいただけるなど、細部にもこだわりを感じさせる宿です。熊野本宮大社にも近く、熊野古道の観光にも良いホテルです。

• 熊野古道への拠点にするなら、大露天風呂がある、「わたらせ温泉」の「ホテルささゆり」はいかがでしょう。客室や浴場などは広々としていて、ゆったりと過ごすことができましたよ。食事は和食で山海の旬の食材を使った料理が沢山でてきました。朝食も美味しい和食で品数が多くて食べきれなったです。
