Recommended for those who want to enjoy Kyoto sightseeing to the fullest
Kamogawakan in Kyoto City is a charming Ryokan (Japanese inn) located along the Kamo River. It is located right next to Sanjo Ohashi Bridge and within walking distance of Gion and Pontocho, making it a convenient base for sightseeing in Kyoto. We were able to relax while looking at the view of the Kamo River and Higashiyama from our room. The food was Kyoto kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with seasonal ingredients, which looked beautiful and of course tasted great. There was also a large public bath, so we were able to relax after our travels. The view of the Japanese-style courtyard was also nice. You can get to Kinkakuji Temple by city bus.
