Cherry blossom viewing along the cherry blossom lined streets of Kameoka, Kyoto
During the "Kameoka Sakura Week" in Kyoto, you can take a walk under a row of 1,500 cherry trees. You can also enjoy a leisurely stroll while looking at the cherry blossoms in the adjacent park, and you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing in various places in Kameoka city. The event is lively with booths and food trucks lined up. During the period, the area is lit up, so you can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night. Other recommended spots besides the cherry blossoms are the "Izumo Daijingu Shrine" which is said to bring good fortune, and the "Oishi Sake Brewery Sake no Yakata" where you can tour the sake brewery and sample sake. The Japanese garden of "Ano-ji Temple" is designated as a scenic spot in Kyoto Prefecture, and it is a magnificent temple that is worth seeing. The hotel is located very close to Kameoka Station, making it easy to get around. There is almost nothing around, so it is quiet. The room had a chic and calm atmosphere, and was spacious, which was nice. There was also a large, clean public bath, so you could take a bath freely from early morning until late at night and relax. Buffet breakfast had a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes.
